Just a week ago in here the latest word had been "it would be the comet of the year, but not of the century". So many conflicting opinions and theories makes ISON more interesting. Like the link too. Pretty much you'll get this type of info with .edu and the other viewpoint from .gov or MSM. Thank you for sharing. |

It looks like a nice, normal comet with interesting features. The trajectory after perihelion isn't going to affect us from what I have gathered. |

This is why everyone said it was going to be the comet of the century, because it was brightening so far away from the frost line, they extrapolated the data and thought it would be incredibly bright if it continued on like that. The thing is, it didn't. It actually got dimmer for awhile near the frost line. Light curve at link [link to www.isoncampaign.org] So here it is. ISON has one side that is mostly unexposed to the sun due to its rotation. We saw ISON get bright near JUPITER, and those same volatiles (except this time on the other side of the comet) will be exposed to the sun near MERCURY. Looks like ISON is going to get really bright when it gets closer to the sun in November, and could still be bright in December. |

You Kachina-tards are worse than Niburutards. Not sure of the definition of "if" eh? —used to discuss the imaginary result or effect of something that did not happen or that is or was not true ----- It was speculative. Lack of consideration of all possibilities makes YOU worse than a Nibirutard. |

What I find interesting is how Love Joy takes an opposite path as ISON. I am no astronomer but feel as if there is more to that than meets the eye.... I'd love to see the pics if possible. |

Especially if you are in the Northeastern/upper midwest. Could be some real goodies in the air for you. |

The estimations are already impressive indeed. or ISON cracks and multiple comets emerge from the far side of the Sun that day. |
