Should the Tea Party split from the GOP?

I'm torn on this. I think it would weaken any chance of a conservative-ish majority in Congress again but I also recognize that the Republican brand is ruined.

If we start a new third party with the implicit understanding that we're doing it to destroy the existing Democrat-lite Republican Party and replace it as a party of conservative governance, I would vote for its candidates, sure.
