I have been following the truckers on FB and Twitter. There is in fact a rally, but it has turned out to be much smaller than originally anticipated. FB is saying right now that it is <100 truckers.

Remember the vets and bikers are due tomorrow and the trucker event is a three day one. I am reading some of the FB posts and some folks are coming some distances to participate.

Shilltilly is probably your culprit of the false info on the pics ...

Too bad this is going on this weekend.....I'll be out there Nov. 12th thru the 15th.

why don't we have more pics of this convoy....

Just got call from General Lee. Truckers pulled over by Pentagon. state troopers issued warning for stopping traffic. I was not in area but it should be on traffic cams.

This idea was doomed to fail. There are so few independent truckers left (you think truckers working for a company can just off and take the company truck to DC????). Plus, the few independents left, how many can afford to take a week off plus the fuel of hauling a rig all the way there? VERY FEW

FOLKS, WE KNOW YOU WANT VIDEO AND WE KNOW YOU WANT PICTURES: We know it's frustrating to not be able to SEE.

Knowing what happened with the biker ride, there is just no way to adequately cover something this huge.

We UNDERSTAND what the truckers are going through right now, slammed in every way, weather is NOT cooperating, raining so hard even the bikers couldn't be in there if they wanted to be.

Please understand that you will probably get a lot of photos and videos AFTER the fact. We have no one covering this live. Of course that is purposeful.

THEY ARE THERE. THEY ARE MAKING NOISE. AT THIS POINT, THAT IS ALL WE CAN HOPE FOR.

We see the way FB is acting up as well, they are doing all they can do to squelch the ride as well. Digitally, there is a lot of interference just for trying to truckers trying keep their broadcast going!
