Common sense(not so common) tells anyone with a brain that all drugs should be legalized. You can get any drug you want right now, but you're dealing with scumbags usually to get it, and you don't know for sure what you're getting. Instead, they are illegal and organized crime and gangs are making shitloads of $$. Prohibition will NEVER work... it doesn't even work in countries with the death penalty for drug offences.

Give the druggies their drugs if they want them, then they wont be stealing our shit to fund their addictions. Offer quality service, funded by the sale of the drugs, to provide quality help if they choose it.

Make drugs cheap
Ensure potency and quality
Provide reality-based education, not denial-based like now

Overdoses happen usually because of a "bad" batch, or more accurately, a stronger dose. Which is why I said quality needs to be regulated, so you know what you're getting.

De-criminalizing of producing, selling , buying and taking drugs by owner can be related with death millions of people with bad name. After all birthrate rises and compensates the loss.
