The Dems have decided this is the time to make their play and they are convinced they are all powerful and the people cant do a damn thing about it. They have been putting all the last plans in place, they are not going to back down over some deal, even if the Repubs caved in completely to their demands. The shutdown, the pain they are willingly inflicting at the National Parks and Monuments is to show one another that the masses can be controlled by a single Park Police person. They are slapping themselves on the backs because so many people are obedient to their edicts. The generals who have been let go this week, and the EBT card mystery are all designed to show their dominance and to raise fear in the people. They will then give their support to riots and demonstrations to cause even more chaos and crisis. A National Emergency will be declared and all of BHO's executive Order will kick in. The Interstate highway systems will be closed and TSA will setup thuggery checkpoints everywhere.DHS and what is left of the military will be ordered to confiscate all manner of weapons and food. What BHO doesn't understand is, the moment a National Emergency and Martial Law is declared is the moment when the people will begin to fight back, and fight back hard they will. Anyone who supports the government will be fair game. Anyone wearing a Federal uniform will be ambushed on sight.
