I Shot Footage of a UFO in Stevens Point, Wisconsin (U.S.A.) Last Night at 7:00 PM!!!

i saw similar here on the east coast, a bit earlier i think - was not too sure of the time. It moved similar to a satelite, but it was a lot brighter. My assumption was ISS> I mean tto come in and check where hte station was located, but i forgot.

I'm quiet confident that was no satellite, by what you have said it was stationary when it first caught your eye. Apart from that, I live in the sticks where there is no light pollution and often can pick out satellites steadily moving across the sky. That object was moving much faster than any satellite I've seen.
I once saw a similar object a couple of yrs ago... but instead of traveling downwards, it went in the opposite direction - straight up until it got so tiny that was out of sight.

I grew up not too far from there!!

I was setting outside one evening this summer right around dark and I noticed an object at high altitude going from west to east. I figured it was an airliner but after a couple of minutes it just vanished.

It COULD have been a satellite that was reflecting sunlight until it reached a certain point in the sky then, in the earth's shadow, disappear from view. I'll never know.

I always imagine them flying two by tow. One has to callibrate plausabile futures, as its a contact scenerio, and course alterations should be made according to likely continuum disturbances.

Because I wanted to see if I could catch more of it if I ran to another spot, but it was gone.

I have been in the tower on Rib Mountain before, and it would be a great place to stargaze and possibly catch UFO's at sunset. I should do that soon here, maybe this weekend, but there's no guarantee that whatever this thing is that it'd be back. I'd probably have to stay out there from 6:00 to 7:30 at least to catch as much as I could.

I have seen the dematerializing objects that you mention, that happen to look just this one three times in the last year.

One was to the North, moving to the West. I caught it while sitting in The Tanning Studio/IHop parking lot in Plover, WI. At first I thought it was a plane, but then it just disappeared. There were no clouds.

Similar thing happened late last night (2012). I was eastbound on Highway 10 (major highway; not an interstate) in central Wisconsin, and I saw what looked like this thing - a star - in the Eastern sky. At first I thought it was a tower light in the distance, but then I realized it was too high. Then, again, on a cloudless evening, it just dematerializes right in front of me.

I also saw one outside of Earth's atmosphere, which traveled across a quarter of the visible night sky overhead and then also dematerialized. I never took my eyes off of these things while they were moving, and they just disappear. They are not satellites, planes, etc. The argument made by someone that these could be satellites lit up by the sun temporarily fails when you take into account the one I saw in space, outside of Earth's atmosphere, at 10 PM when the sky was black.

People at work, when I showed them my video here, said, "How do you see all of these things???" - I wanted to say, "It's because I actually pay attention to something other than my shitty paycheck, Sunday football, and what shoes are on sale at Payless", but I kept my mouth shut.

I love stargazing, and I've always felt like I'm not really from here (Earth), and I don't really like it here, so I spend a lot of time looking up and hoping I will go home soon, even though I don't really know where home is.

I had no time to set my tripod up. I do have one, but it's kind of a piece of shit and broken anyway. I didn't want to miss this thing, so I shot what I could.

Interesting video. I once was leaving hooters in midvale utah and saw three objects that looked and moved in a similar way, flying very low over the salt lake valley. They were moving south to northeast. I pulled over and watched and they vanished; not dispersed or covered behind a mountain, but disappeared like someone flipped a switch one at a time about every fifteen minutes.

Possibly a helicopter with a spotlight? Raising and lowering from fairly far away.
