Bob Nute didn't get a call until about 9:35 a.m.

But it seems multiple earlier 911 were made from cellphones in side the school; did these calls first bounce to the wrong districts, then finally end up at Troop A-consolidated-into-Troop L et al, and then finally to Newtown?

Is this why there was an off-duty SWAT officer in the woods?

What if the shooting started at around 9:15 a.m. as Rosen states, and dispatchers at the wrong districts received the call and told their buddies--both on and off duty--to get there a**es to Newtown?

Think about it - at 9:40 a.m. or just after, there was already an off-duty SWAT guy "from another district" in the woods.

How did he know to be there? Maybe he was justifiably worried that Newtown would wonder what the hell he was doing there? Maybe he thought Newtown had been notified at 9:15 or so when the first call came in from inside the school--but imagine what he must have thought when he arrived to an eerily quiet school, and NO other cops.

OR maybe off-duty cops broke the glass, entered the school and got into a shootout with a perpetrator. Maybe there were friendly fire incidents. And when Newtown cops didn't come, and didn't come, and didn't come, these off-duty guys freaked, realizing they'd be blamed. Maybe then they ran.

Are the gingerbread fathers (and uncles) guys who got there because of personal calls from freaked-out buddies in the State Police?

If word really got out by word of mouth--a few freaked out phone calls--that would explain some of the parents that just magically happened to be there at the time NPD arrived.

Probably, the NEWTOWN 911 calls can't be released because some of them say, "So-and-so from Litchfield told me there was as shooting at the school, so I drove there, and the glass is broken out!" The parents who rushed to the school probably assumed NPD was already there; in fact, the parents beat NPD there by quite a bit. Possibly because they were alerted by news that was circulating much earlier than 9:36 a.m. when Nute dispatched.
