POLL: Who else here, besides me, is going to refuse to buy ObamaCare as a form of Civil Disobedience?
I am! The government cannot force me to buy anything!
I'm not! I'm happy with giving up my human rights.
Buy ObamaCare? I thought it was free???

You can say "no" as a form of Civil Disobedience for that very reason. That is a perfectly valid reason, and one of the biggest reasons for why the government cannot force this on us.

I have launched 2 threads on the same topic as your thread.

I had almost no responses.

like

"What bills will you stop paying to be able to purchase
O-Care.

I can't remember the second thread title but it was of the same topic. And again...........nobody responded.

I guess everyone on this site is rich and coming up with
the fee each month is not a problem...

Re: Who else here, besides me, is going to refuse to buy ObamaCare as a form of Civil Disobedience?
This is a classic example of a loaded question and why polls suck.

OP, I CANNOT AFFORD "Obamacare" because I cannot get a job, which I consider to be no fault of mine because I am qualified and seeking for 3 years now. Furthermore, even when I had so called health insurance, I never received good medical care. I paid in a staggering amount of money over my working career and barely got anything for it. Now that I am older and need it, I have zero access. It is not civil disobedience. It is inability to pay, with secondary reasons of not being all that convinced the system works, anyway. I think most health care should be simple pay as you go, because mostly people have minor issues. We should have some form of nonprofit treatment centers like hospitals for serious issues that require surgery, etc. We can't go on making health care a for profit industry. That's what's wrong with it now. It must be nonprofit.

Sometimes I have a sinking feeling that nobody on this site is a real person, they are all like weird NSA agents pretending to be the public... I sure hope that isn't true.

Never thought of that...

The other thread I made was called something like....

"Need someone's advice on how to use plastic this Christmas".

We already have health insurance, but if we ever lose it I'll damn sure not get Obamacare.

Not a snowball's chance in hell of that ever happening. I walk to and fro upon this earth the free man that I was born as.
