The "terrible" government shutdown started on October 1st, and there was no apocalypse.


15 days later, we still see no signs of apocalypse caused by the shutdown.


This Thursday will be the same.

You are correct nothing will happen. I remember in 1987 when we had the black day with the stock market. In an interview with Sam Walton he was asked about loosing 10's of millions of dollars. He stated that nothing had changed in his life, and that everything he owned the day before he still owned. He stated that his lose was only on paper and that his life would go on. It is pretty simple it is only on paper! A field of corn is still a field of corn. Some one is going to eat.

The worst that can happen on Thursday is a huge drop in the stock exchange, but that's only temporary, and stocks will go up again in less than one month.

There is no reason to raise the debt limit AGAIN, just because Obama is speaking nonsense about some kind of "apocalypse" if the limit is not raised.

Debt ceiling won't be raised.

Nothing will happen on Thursday.

And Friday will also be a normal day, and life will go on.
