In my opinion the house will vote it down later tonight when everyone is already long forgotten about this whole debacle because they are being led to believe that it's a done deal, then come tomorrow will wake up to a very different scenario

In all other circumstances, I'd be quite inclined to agree with you. When you observe everything else going on though, there are some differences in circumstance that are a little alarming.

This time...there has been a year of "drills" turned real, internal agencies purchasing stockpiles of ammunition, national parks and forests being shut down, and services to the people shut down. Not to mention the recent removal of several high-ranking military officers. Banks getting prepared. All sorts of things. Hell, if even 1% of what gets posted here is legitimate, it still adds up pretty quickly.

If this is all just grandstanding, I will genuinely be a little confused. I'll gladly come back and post I was wrong, but I just don't see this ending too quietly after all the setup to it.

I watched the damn press conference yesterday, all 1 and half an hour of it. I remember most questions. They are the same today...

This is repeated on the media ALL over the world. Everyone say or imply that debt deal reached and crisis averted.

So I got up around noon hoping I'd be knee-deep in doom and then CNN is saying "a deal has been reached," without elaborating too much on the fact that it was a Senate deal (of course it was).

I don't know, I'm getting a weird feeling about this. The ship is in rocky seas and these fools don't know how to get her right...

There not even voting until after dinner hour.

You can now thank the Republican moderates and the tea party members for an overwhelming Democrat Congress win in 2014 and a landslide win by the Democrats in 2016 no matter how bad Obamacare turns out.
