Rangel is a congressman, not a senator. There isn't much "diversity" in the US Democrat controlled Senate....blacks are difficult to find in that very exclusive club...

That would be Mr. Tim Scott. And he is a true conservative republican who turned down the invite into the "black caucus". Pretty cool huh! I'm proud to say i voted for him! He's actually a really down to earth nice guy. Of course now that i said that watch him do something off the wall completely contradicting me... but i don't think he will.  LOL, probably. He sounds like a good guy and you are lucky to have someone who might "represent" you...I have no one.
