Guess what........won't even allow me to get to it. only my checking. Went inside to ask why......they simply said it was a new policy to their atm machines. WTF??????? Shit's getting real! Having said that, I would still use a Federal credit union over a bank, if a non-Federal credit union was not available to me. |

They must've asked 5-6 times why I was taking my money out. I skirted the question each time. So they changed tactics...asking me if I was opening another account in a different bank and offering me cashiers checks instead of cash. Not sure if its policy or nosy bankers. But it seems to be standard practice |

And yes, you need to wait 1-2 business days to get it in hands. If you just want to change it to another account or another bank you can do it in a couple minutes, both online or at the bank. |

Good points, but I believe that they no longer have to carry 10% of their deposits in cash; I believe it was reduced to 3% just a couple of years ago. That 3% can go mighty fast when a lot of people take cash withdrawals. |
