Have any predictions on GLP ever been successful?

Yes EAT predicted an economic collapse.

A troll started a fake story on here about German DM been printed and it caused a dip in the Euro economy.

No i think not. The most impressive one i think is the one that predicted a war to syria on the 28th of August 2013, the post came from 2011. It seemed indeed to be the plan but tptb didnt get what they wanted.

We are not children of celestial fuckin' light, walkin' arm-in-arm into the Age of Aquarius. We are wankers who wreck the planet an' piss on each other, 'til half the world's starvin' an' the other half's busy findin' new ways to keep from noticin' it. That's the fuckin' limit've our potential, believe me.

Dr. Atkins east-coast 'tsunami' watch/warning.. It was a couple weeks outside of his specified risk window, and there was indeed a wave confirmed by independent source - albeit a very small one....

Re: Have any predictions on GLP ever been successful?
Instead of starting a thread, I have a prediction I will hide in here to find it in a couple weeks. I predict I will need to return at that time and pull this back up.

I will be a little veg. But will explain myself after I recall this post.

We will loose a prominent Doctor to Kidney failure. His son may also be lost to an unknown skin disease.

he is 72 and talks very rough. A Glp member will announce him loosing his battle to this disease.

He didn't say it will happen 100%, he issued a warning and gave a probability.... Plus he made it several weeks in advance which is not something that the buoys can predict.... It was an impressive prediction/forecast if you ask me.... That's not a common event....

.005% of what is discussed actually come true. And usually that's pure luck.

Re: Have any predictions on GLP ever been successful?
Mostly, the doom predictions have failed and that is why we have coined the term, "GLP Effect" because once doom is predicted on this site, it almost always is avoided, thus glp'ers have been saving the world from doomy doom since it's unfortunate inception.

However, that's not to say that doom will not occur as we certainly had doomtards predicting the economic crash of 0708, so how much and how far any actual "GLP Effect" might have is still up in the air. We need one of our scientist types to crunch some numbers and to make some tabulations that would back up this assumption. But, on the whole, I think that glp is a fantastic source for up to the minute news, arguments, ideas, and possibly even a place to make both friends and enemies, but not so much a predictor of doom. We are just having fun.

Sorry.

The predictions are here to steer people off of real news from real people. If you have been here long enough you learn to ignore the predictions and watch for real news being reported from real people. Learn the difference between shills and the awake....

Re: Have any predictions on GLP ever been successful?
EAT has about a 60% success rate, with his earthquake predictions (the latest being this weekend).

Some woman posted her vision of Fukushima here, 3 days before it happened.

There have been hits, with a tonne of misses in between. Real? Synchronicity? Statistically positive due to the amount of predictions? Who knows?
