Regular GLPers most likely know all the critical long term issues facing humanity.

The fact is that until we figure out a way, as a speices, to harvest space born resources; we are sitting on a time bomb in this solar system.

What, I'm referring to is our star Sol. While it may continue to burn for billions of more years, its natural cycle towards death will cause it to push the 'life-zone' away from Earth's orbit and towards Mars; perhaphs within a very small fraction of a billion years. This is not according to me, but others in the scientific community at large.

So, what you need to know all depends upon your point-of-view and interests.

I've come to know [a strong conviction] that our conscious mind exists as a union between a flesh and blood based neurological computer and something else that is connected to a vast network of other somethings; all of which can not be measured scientifically but experienced.

I have personally experienced such connections that others would call the spirit world. Whatever you want to label it, it is real; and my knowledge of its existance is based on my attempts to reverse engineer the inner workings of my own mind and knowledge base.

In the past, I've been able to acomplish things that are simply beyond what anything flesh and blood could do on its own. But, the scientist in me will not claim it to be a 'fact' until; scientific proof can be found and verified by others.

Let me paint you a picture of what ECT was like.

Two very large body-builder type men strapped me down to a table, I was 15 years old and weighted like 150 to 160 pounds. So, there was no possible way for me to fight them off.

A nurse held pills in a cup and lied staight to my face.

She said that they wanted to to an EEG and needed to connect wires to my head. I asked if they were going to apply electrical current to those wires and was told no. It was just like the sensors that they place on peoples chest to see their heartbeat on the scope.

So, I relaxed a little as a man dressed like a doctor placed devices the size of a dime all over my head. They used some kind of electrolight-based jelly to drop the resistance between the wires and my head down to 1100 ohms.

Then once they had something like twenty to thirty wires attached to my head, and my arms and legs strapped to a metal table; everyone left the room except the man who looked like a doctor. He walked several feet away from me then hit a switch. I remained conscious for a few seconds in total agony, having my brain electrocuted by these assholes.

I woke up in a hospital bed, devoid of all clothes except my underwear; and spend the next several days throwing up with a splitting headache that would not go away.

For several years after this event, I would just blackout for no reason: in school, on the job, and once in the sack with my GF. What's worse than not being able to get it up? Not being able to stay conscious long enough to find out that you can't get it up. This was done by a man with high political connections in the state. He spread lies about me and used his power to have the state break into my bedroom while I was sleeping and rip me out of the house and toss me in an ambulance.

In side the ambulance; the two very large men who literatly hauled me out of the house kicking and fighting said that they were not allowed to talke to me.

The took me by squad with lights flashing, and escorted me to the psyciatric-ward of a state controlled hospital. Once inside the ward, they tried to force me to take drugs by mouth and I refused. I told them straight to their faces that they killed by father with medical drugs and that I would not take any period. That's when they hauled me into a small room and strapped me to that metal table.

Your flag indicates that you are from the U.K., and the so-called tax loop holes that I know about only apply to U.S. Federal Tax Law; and are written into the regulations.

Bottom line, if too many people all of the sudden became aware of them and starting using them; they would be closed by Congress in a heartbeat.

Seriously, though. I've been doing this a lot recently in the morning hours waking up. I mostly go walking around in the dreamscape trying to create a hot character to have sex with. It's not easy, but lately i've been able to maintain it for longer periods of time whereas before once I become aware of the dreamworld I would tend to wake up. I'm also getting intense pineal vibrations at night where I'm pulsing like crazy and hanging on trying to keep my consciousness from taking off into space. You can feel a "light body" that pulses and rolls back and forth as if you're in an earthquake. Really weird. And sometimes visually you see these celtic looking patterns of light swirling around like fireworks on the back of your eyelids, and pictures in your mind start flashing at a high rate of speed- pics from real life just like you're viewing a nickelodean or something except each frame is different and unrelated to the next- like something is downloading into your brain.

Never thought about trying to neutralize it.

Aside from that, I believe that we need to crack the nut on why Gravity exists, and exactally what it is.

I've got a lot of pet theories on that subject, and am leaning towards the feeling that the effect of Gravity is a shadow.

We stick to planet Earth, because we are trapped in a Gravitational field that is a result of the shadow cast by the mass of the Earth blocking a very minute part of the three dimensional forces that are passing through our region of space from all others.

The trick to getting biological life space-born; IMO would be to somehow generate an artificial gravity shadow. Such a scientific power could form a real-world technology base capable of creating: inertial-dampining fields, and enclosed mass drives.

With such gravity shadow tech; radiation sheilding would be easy. Harvest raw metal from astroids and create spherical moon like space ships that have massive mass. Gravity Shadow tech takes mass out of the equation, and let's us create our own moveable planets at some time in the future.
