IMO, if the NSA facilities get overwhelmed with data, the new Homeland Security Sec. will just say..'We need more funding to deal with the '330 million extremists'. Now we need a $200 Billion facility to monitor EVERYTHING.' BOSS cameras and military and on EVERY street corner. Etc, etc.

We should all pepper our language on phone calls and internet with these words.

Well the NSA use to be vital to National Security but when it enables the administration to blackmail political opponents like Gen Petraeus it becomes another useful dupe alphabet regulatory agency that is making war on the established values of the Republic.
