I cannot find that it was ok'd to continue. Can't feed the children but gov't can send billions to Pakistan??? Fire this prick!!!!!!! Since you posted that from Japan, why aren't you ranting that USA should help with Fuckushima? We send arms to the rebels and billions to Pakistan, waste millions closing Nat'l Parks and Veteran monuments and can't spare anything to help with that? Maybe we need to be gassed, radiated and nuked. |

If he recently found himself unemployed, or is disabled or has disabled family members to feed, then he probably needs the additional help. But if he's choosing to not work as much as he can, or has messed his life up with drugs and alcohol, then he probably doesn't need it. If it's the first case, I hope you help him out because he is family. If the second, sorry, we all have family like that. Last Edited by samanthasunflower on 10/21/2013 09:51 AM |

Snap benefits are going down 5.5 percent in November due to the stimulus package expiring. You can find the same data on a lot of websites all agreeing. One person gets a $11 a month cut. No dispute or secret in the numbers. 2. What is *NOT* being reported is they are changing the eligibility requirements to purge around 5 million in 2014 which would start in the new fiscal year which starts Nov 1. The waivers for work expire with the stimulus package (some states with high unemployment can get the waiver) so we go back in time and a lot of people that are getting EBT now will not qualify. [link to www.dhs.state.mn.us] [link to mn.bridgetobenefits.org] [link to www.dhs.state.mn.us] [link to www.fns.usda.gov] [link to foodstampguide.org] So from what I am reading, is we would have a lot of people suddenly getting notice that they no longer qualify for SNAP. I did find one story mentioning this - [link to www.citizennewspaper.com] |

I'm watching this closely as the EBT cards not working will be SHTF time starting. As others are pointing out in this thread, the letter was sent but nothing indicates EBT will be working in November. If so, please post a link. You'd think with something as big as that they would want to assure people there is no problem. |
