Funding for All Food Stamps (SNAP) Ended Sept 30 2013, Obama says Farmbill needs passed, to blame politicians for Riots and Police State
The Funding for Food Stamps (SNAP) is provided by the 2008 Farm Bill, when this runs out the Primary funding for SNAP ends.

United States farm bill
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Recent History:
...In 2012, while writing the new farm bill, known as the Agriculture Reform, Food and Jobs Act, Congress proposed many ways to cut down the overall cost of the bill, including stricter eligibility standards for food stamps and moving away from direct payments to farmers.[5] However, food stamps and nutrition remained the largest portion of the bill's cost, amounting to a proposed $768.2 billion over ten years.[11] The 2012 bill ultimately failed to pass in the House, which caused Congress to extend the 2008 bill until September 30, 2013.[10][4]

Between the passage of the 2008 farm bill and the creation of the 2013 bill, the food stamp program changed its name to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and nearly doubled in size.[12] The proposed 2013 bill would cut funding to SNAP by about $400 million a year,...

...The latest 2008 Farm bill, known as the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008, increased spending to $288Bn therefore causing controversy at the time by increasing the budget deficit. It increased subsidies for biofuels which the World Bank has named as one of three most important contributors, along with high fuel prices and price speculation, to the 2007–2008 world food price crisis.[15] On January 1, 2013, Congress passed the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 to avert the fiscal cliff and the next day President Barack Obama signed the Act into law. (Public Law No: 112-240) The "fiscal cliff" deal was primarily enacted to avoid automatic tax hikes and spending cuts, but also included provisions extending portions of the 2008 Farm Bill known as Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 for nine months through September 30, 2013.

Can anyone prove or show where the Gov has funded Food Stamp program (SANP) Into the Month of November 2013?

If not prepare for the Government Dependents to look other places for food after a few days of growing hungry, and The Fed FEMA Northcom Troops using Thefts and Riots to lock people in their homes and put up roadblocks, curfews and travel restrictions.

This USDA letter is all over the web to ALL STATES to cease SNAP for November 2013 until further notice. I cannot find that it was ok'd to continue.

Can't feed the children but gov't can send billions to Pakistan??? Fire this prick!!!!!!!

Since you posted that from Japan, why aren't you ranting that USA should help with Fuckushima? We send arms to the rebels and billions to Pakistan, waste millions closing Nat'l Parks and Veteran monuments and can't spare anything to help with that? Maybe we need to be gassed, radiated and nuked.

In Texas:
My cousin just renewed his food stamps through April.
Letter came yesterday...his family's total amount DID drop from 375 dollars a month to 133 without any income/expense changes, though.

He called me this morning to have someone to rant to...LOL

I'm curious if that 65% drop is because the gov is no longer sponsoring their portion of the benefits? I.e. the state sponsors 35% and the fed sponsors 65%.

The Banks and Corporations Distributing EBT Funds.

[link to www.thedailybeast.com]

According to the website of the Agriculture Department—which oversees the food stamp program—three companies administer the bulk of EBT card programs in 49 states (the state of Montana runs its own program) through multi-year contracts ranging from five to seven years. JP Morgan Electronic Financial Services, Inc. (a subsidiary of JP Morgan Chase), which entered the welfare market in 2004 by acquiring Citicorp Electronic Financial Services, has contracts with 24 states and two U.S. territories. Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), a subsidiary of Xerox, has 15 state contracts. And eFunds Corporation, a subsidiary of Fidelity National Information Services (not connected to Fidelity Investments), handles the EBT cards for 10 states and one U.S. territory.

I Wonder if the portions/Ratio is the same for every State.
Also If the Base Funds that Run the Program/Operation are cut is the Program still going to Function? Since they have Two major Corporations managing the Distribution of the Funds, and in the last 2 to 3 Months both systems have had "outages" in their EBT Card systems. This looks like a test for a more permanent outage.

Just curious, does he need them? Some people think this is a stupid question, but it's a question with merits.

If he recently found himself unemployed, or is disabled or has disabled family members to feed, then he probably needs the additional help.

But if he's choosing to not work as much as he can, or has messed his life up with drugs and alcohol, then he probably doesn't need it.

If it's the first case, I hope you help him out because he is family. If the second, sorry, we all have family like that.

Re: Funding for All Food Stamps (SNAP) Ended Sept 30 2013, Obama says Farmbill needs passed, to blame politicians for Riots and Police State
I've been reading a lot about the November SNAP changes and have found:

1. Snap benefits are going down 5.5 percent in November due to the stimulus package expiring. You can find the same data on a lot of websites all agreeing. One person gets a $11 a month cut. No dispute or secret in the numbers.

2. What is *NOT* being reported is they are changing the eligibility requirements to purge around 5 million in 2014 which would start in the new fiscal year which starts Nov 1. The waivers for work expire with the stimulus package (some states with high unemployment can get the waiver) so we go back in time and a lot of people that are getting EBT now will not qualify.

So from what I am reading, is we would have a lot of people suddenly getting notice that they no longer qualify for SNAP.

I did find one story mentioning this - [link to www.citizennewspaper.com]

An hour? I would think in about five minutes as they will be waiting.

I'm watching this closely as the EBT cards not working will be SHTF time starting.

As others are pointing out in this thread, the letter was sent but nothing indicates EBT will be working in November. If so, please post a link. You'd think with something as big as that they would want to assure people there is no problem.
