Someone should remind him which political party all the KKK members belonged too. In the 60s, when most of the memorable shit went down, their were no Republicans in the south. The cross burners were all Democraps. This is a perfect example of the progressive revisionist history. I doubt there are any repuglicans in the KKK today, and I don't believe you will ever see any TEA party member in a terrorist group like that.

There were no republicans in the south till the democrats decided to give people civil rights and the republicans decided to win more elections by pandering to racists. And there are plenty of KKK republicans starting with David Duke just to begin naming people.

To deny the republicans is the preferred party of white supremacists is a pretty blatant disregard for reality.

I'm pretty sure the Republicans voted overwhelmingly for civil rights.

This kind of tactic really pisses me off.

Republicans were against the KKK historically. People I know from the area where it was begun are hard core DEMOCRATS! And they are sick that Obama is President. Abraham Lincoln was a REPUBLICAN- which Obama is constantly comparing himself to.

The truth is that different parties mean different things in different geographic locations. I have lived in many states and it always confuses me to see the politics be the opposite of what makes sense in other areas. These terms have no meaning for me. Not a member of either.
