My daughter is slightly concerned. She just turned 12 so I'm happy she even acknowledges this stuff. Lol, although hard to avoid with me as her mom! I thought she may want to sleep with me in my room too, but she's still too young to fully understand the situation.

38* right now. Winds sustained at 25, gusts to 40 (light breeze for this area in all reality). Winter storm moving in, probably that storm that's heading towards the east coast that, GASP!, may cause problems with shopping on Friday. Our entire state is under winter storm warning right now. Keep in mind, Montana is roughly the size of Germany, so that's a lot of area. We're expecting 4-6 inches of snow on the plains and 12-18 inches in the mountains. Ought to be a fun weekend. After last weekend slipping around on some old logging roads (could have made some diamonds if I had any coal, if you know what I mean) I am glad this will be my last weekend out on sketchy roads trying to fill my freezer.

I have a couple feeds and the scanner going on my computer. And then I'm flipping back and forth between CNN, Fox and MSNBC on the TV. I happen to be watching Fox, When the guy was breaking the McDonalds windows on the bad and then they all started looting the liquor store. Up until the masked man seemed to attack the camera man and the feed went down. There have been a lot more fires than I thought there would be. I'm kind of bummed out. I can't seem to get away from my laptop and the TV with all the live coverage of the riots. I'm totally missing DWTS.

Be truthful, explain the divide and conquer tactics in play. Keep her home this week, it's a short week anyways and probably nothing new is being presented. Everyone will go shopping on Friday, be happy, and all will be normal on Monday.

Actually believe it or not, spiders don't bother me at all. Then again I live in the Pacific Northwest and none of them can hurt anybody. They just get a really large. Spiders really are nature's pest control.

I did. Tomorrow is their last day before Thanksgiving break and they have just been giving an extra day. My son is also in HS but has special needs. He doesn't need to be around a bunch of pumped up high schoolers as he would not understand what was going on and he would freak. Decided whether the school likes it or not, I am keeping them home.

I don't have a problem with spiders either. They are excellent predators and keep other insects at bay. That said, we have black widows and brown recluse around here, so I take no chances if it's inside my home. They get squished. If they're outside my home I let them be. In fact, there'e a big barn spider just outside my front door. As long as it stays outside it will live out its life.

If you were living where I do, my wife would probably be in your son's classroom for her job. Probably a good choice to keep them home, if they're concerned. I am not worried about it where I live. Business will go on as usual around here, but other areas of this country, people will really need to prioritize what's important to them.

Well, if this is storm that's heading your way, my guess is late Thursday, early Friday your temps will start to drop. If you also have a storm coming in off the Atlantic, that might make for some interesting weather in your neck of the woods.

If you're posting from your laptop in bed you might want to close the lid. Getting a little late out there on a work night. Close the lid, watch something fluffy and catch some Z's, otherwise work is going to be worse than normal for you tomorrow, or rather today...
