Ours are in bloom here which is too early and likely to get frozen but sure is pretty

3/19 Morning Update
Keepers have noted a calming down of the calf and April carrying everything a bit towards the rear. This is exactly what we want! Wax caps are still in place. Appetite remains strong.

Brilliant Venus is racing toward its inferior conjunction on March 25. Watch its crescent get thinner and thinner as the planet's size appears larger and larger, because it is getting closer to Earth.

During the final week of March catch the planet Mercury low above the western horizon. Try to glimpse the small planet before it disappears from view.

On March 29th use the waxing crescent moon to find the planets Mercury and Mars.
Once you see the moon, no matter where you live, let it guide you search for the two starlike objects in the moon’s vicinity, Mercury and Mars. You may need binoculars to spot Mercury.

Anything under 6.0 magnitude, I don't even pay much attention to unless it is in an unusual place.

We all have our ideas as to what will happen soon. We all share those ideas. I share stuff and I am sure many do not agree which is cool. We are all learning.

Yeah. Or a sudden swarm of 4's or 5's.

The smaller swarms are basically just pressure releases unless a couple of 5's hit in the midst of them.

SUNSPOT COUNTS REACH 7-YEAR LOW: The face of the sun has been blank (no sunspots) for 13 consecutive days. The last time this happened was April of 2010, near the end of a deep Solar Minimum. The current stretch of blank suns heralds a new Solar Minimum expected to arrive in 2019-2020. Is space weather coming to an end? Now to see if we enter a Grand Solar Minimum. I think most here think we are heading in that direction big time. Something none of us have ever seen, not since the 1800's during the Dalton Grand Minimum.
