Oh I wish it was from that lol. I slept terribly all week. I think I got a total of 12-13 hours of sleep between Monday and Friday. Awful. This morning I woke up around 7am not feeling well and threw up. Also broke into a horrible sweat. My tank top was completely soaked. Kinda worried me, but now I feel fine.

Oh I hope I can see them! I'm close to the viewing area line and have super clear skies currently! I so wish I was in Alaska or Canada tonight! At the least!

I want to see them SOOOO bad! It's even on my bucket list!

CME Impact / Storm Warning (UPDATED)
A shock passage, likely related to the CME observed a few days ago has swept past Earth. A geomagnetic sudden impulse was detected at 06:01 UTC (Jul 16) marking the exact moment of impact. The solar wind speed is currently near 430 km/s and the BZ component of the interplanetary magnetic field (IMF) is currently pointing sharply south (-20nT). Minor (G1) geomagnetic storming will be possible in the hours ahead with a chance for moderate (G2) storming as well.
UPDATE: Periods of minor (G1) to moderate (G2) storming continues on Sunday evening in the wake of a CME impact. Sky watchers at higher latitudes should be alert for visible aurora once dark outisde.

CME STRIKE SPARKS GEOMAGNETIC STORMS: Geomagnetic storms are underway on July 16th following a CME strike at 0545 UT. Auroras have been sighted in New Zealand as well as US states such as Washington and Wyoming. The storms are intensifying as Earth moves into the CME's magnetized wake. Ian Griffin sends this report from New Zealand: "I was observing at Hoopers Inlet on the Otago Peninsula when a fabulous outburst of aurora occurred just after the CME from sunspot AR2665 hit."

NOAA forecasters say there is a 75% chance of additional storms on July 16th. High-latitude sky watchers should remain alert for auroras.

The pressure headache is developing here...

They are actually "saying" they could be visible at your place.
It could be not really a solar storm but a coordinated EMP attack. I just saying... NASA is a LYING MACHINE! The peak of it it will hit around 8PM Eastern time (I mean the hit, the very bad portion of it, not the lights)

I am up!!! Been putting finalizing touches on a very large website project all weekend, so pretty much sleeping in a coma during the times I have not been playing piano and getting this done.

I certainly have way more energy now since shedding 75 lbs!

Diligently watching. Currently 8:35pm Eastern time here and skies are still relatively clear.

It amazes me how some are NOT affected by these things. Maybe they are and just don't realize it because they don't follow solar events and such.
