8 years ago my kids were photographed by a man in a government car....

This has haunted me since. My older daughters were 5 & 7, and, my oldest daughter told me that there was a man in a suit that took pictures of her coming up the stairs into my home and she had took her little sister's hand and ran into the house. By the time I looked, there was no one there. I dismissed it as kids imagination.

A few years later while my daughters were in the front window of the house, there was a man who positioned himself on the sidewalk in front of my house and started snapping pictures. I ran outside and tried to talk to him- he took off running.

I live on a corner. His car was parked on the other side of my house. I pulled into the street and pursued him. He went the wrong way on a one-way street. I followed him and got his license plate and vehicle description. I went straight to the police department, expecting this to be some pedophile.

I gave the information to the police who were eager to help me, but, then the officer left the room. He came back with another official. They said that all they could tell me was that it was a government vehicle and they asked me if I would have any reason for a government official to be taking pictures? The seemed- unnerved- at very least. They were both scanning the room and fidgety. That was all they would say.

A couple days later, I paid a PI to find out what he could. All he could find was that the car was registered to a fictional address- it was a cornfield and that the car was a model that had yet to be released (no idea why that matters, but, he said it).

There were some other odd things that went on in the next few weeks, but, this one has haunted me. I also had 2 little kids at that point- a newborn and a 1 year old.

This is LONG before ever even thinking about this site or anything of the sort. Anyone have anything similar or any ideas why this happened?

I am 33 years old now but when I was about very young probably about 7 or 8 years old I had my picture taken by a random man and woman in a red sports car.
I was walking across the street with my friend coming from her house going home to my house.
I never told my parents, but my friend did and the police came and took down our story. This was at the time Johnny Gosch had gotten kidnapped and I lived only a few blocks from where he was taken. (west des moines, iowa)
If you know the Johnny Gosch story at all, you will know that this is all tied to a government pedophile ring that is still going on today... (Look up the Franklin Scandal in Nebraska)
I look back today - and I was lucky... They were taken kids all over the midwest. I couldv'e been one of the unlucky ones...
