Socialism and capitalism together cannot exist--which is the path Obama appears to be taking.

Imagine for instance, paying $4.00 a gallon for fuel at the pump (or whatever your local price is.. it's about $4 here.) Instead of a Corporation making billions in profits, imagine that $4 a gallon being used to pay the workers a good wage to extract the oil, refine it for use--it wouldn't cost $4 a gallon then, right? Figure, $2 a gallon would go to the extraction, the refinement, the employees, etc. and the other $2 goes to a fund that searches for cleaner/better alternatives to fossil fuels.

Would you rather make some fat cat rich while they destroy the planet and squander the natural resources under your feet, or, would you rather the use of a natural resource while funding the quest for it's alternative?

The same can be applied to virtually all fields--science, technology, medical, agricultural, etc etc.

Capitalism is a farce. Democracy is a farce. People cannot be ruled. Authority is a figment of the imagination. Until we realize this--we'll stay screwed.

For me it's simple, I agree don't vote, who knows what will happen then, It may be worse it may be better but remember today is today life could change tomorrow. Lets stop moaning about things and get up and revolt! The only people that are rewarded are the incredibly rich and elite , high class, middle class, lower class we are all in the same boat now, mega rich corporations vs the people.
