PerspectiveX User ID: 13025452 United States 10/26/2013 09:19 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ive had sleep paralysis in the form of being lucid and realizing i was in my bed....as for the dark presence, i have seen that as well, but not during sleep paralysis. i was woken up in the middle of the night by a knock on the door. when i sat up from the bed i saw a cloaked person taller than anyone living in my house. he/she/it was motionless but i knew they were staring at me. felt as if they were inside my mind. Jnr User ID: 48855786 United Kingdom 10/26/2013 05:56 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Like you PerspectiveX I also hear a knock on the door I used to jump out of bed and look out the window at the front door no one there nor at my neighbors door. I eventually realized it was in my dreams, one thought was as we all have OBE as we sleep it could be the spirit returning as some people feel the spirit slamming back into the body. I have no feeling of any evil presence but I some time do feel a presence. Two of my recent dreams in the last two month I saw the Greys. It was not really a dream as I was semi conscious turning around in bed when I had a image in my mind of the tall mintis then I thought I could see three small greys at the bottom of the bed I remember laying there trying to hit them swinging my arms then I turned around and went back to sleep. Second time this happen there was only one there and no fear on my part no hitting or striking out. There is the possibility that they were not in my room but in the etheric world and me turning around had broke the link. I have been told who I am as a light being and these may be soul family helping me remember who I am,I have had two message through my dreams that woke me up to remember one stated not to be afraid of the Greys these was six months ago. Anonymous Coward User ID: 46813305 United States 10/27/2013 12:46 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | yes, for about a week as a teen. Every night wake up, something evil at the foot of the bed, can't move, can't scream. Most awful evil feeling in the world. short, dark, shadow shape at the foot of my twin bed, so evil feeling. I talked myself thru it, closed my eyes till I fell back asleep. I think it went on for 3-4 nights in a row; It was a long time ago...ha! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 47893151 There seem to be a lot more negative accounts, than positive, although they're probably more likely to share it I guess. I'm tempted to try it for myself, it's not supposed to be too difficult to induce. I wonder if you can attribute that "falling" feeling just before you go off to sleep to sleep paralysis, however brief it is. Be careful what you wish for. Some of these things are very experienced. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 24288365 United States 10/27/2013 09:45 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | notice SP is described as occurring after being asleep (and then half waking. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 24288365 this has NEVER happened when im waking up, but ALWAYS as im drifting off to sleep. im not asleep yet, not even halfway and the ringing starts. anyone else? i still havent found a SINGLE person who gets it like me, when GOING to sleep...it always after waking up. ive had it since i was born but no presences that im aware of, just a black hole, a vacuum that sucks me downwards and forwards. its so freaking PAINFUL to my body. They also said a common experience is the feeling of moving a great speed, hence the "flying on a witches broom" theory people used to believe. I also read on some YouTube comments that some people feel physical pain. Is this just an illusion or anticipation of pain, or would you still feel pain once you are completely awake and mobile? the total body pain disappears on fully waking.its sheer torture until then. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 24288365 United States 10/27/2013 09:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | is anybody able to talk whilst in sp? when i get it my mrs wakes up bcos of the noises i make and calls my name and i hear her right away and answer. i always see sum kind of entity without fail sometimes children but mostly demonic type stuff. ive even had the mrs turn into a vampire with long black hair and attack me but as i was paralyseed all i could do was chew her fingers to defend myself lol, even stranger i found a picture online showing the same vampire with her fingers in the victims mouth. Quoting: awoken1 cannot speak, but screaming anyway.should have sore throat upon waking up but dont. i always scream, cant help it. so much terror. very exhausting to say the least. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 24288365 United States 10/27/2013 09:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I used to have severe Sleep paralysis attacks from 1 to 7+ times a night for about 6 months. I had severe anxiety before going to sleep because once you go without sleep for so long you get really paranoid. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 47355322 Now I never seen anything weird but all of the fright and the paralysis was scary enough. All of it stopped once I started praying nightly now wither or not that is kind of a placebo effect to calm my brain is yet to be seen but I recommend it to anyone who is suffering from SP. you have never experienced sleep paralysis What exactly do you think I experienced then, I had the electric buzz feeling in my body, paralysis and extreme feeling of dread and or feeling of suffocation. sure sounds like SP to me... |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 24288365 United States 10/27/2013 09:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You feel it coming, its unmistakable. The weight, the evil, you cannot breathe you cannot move. The only thing you can do is think, and you think to god or jesus for help, its inherent, and i'm not at all religious. Reciting a prayer repulses it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 45841471 [link to en.wikipedia.org] im so glad it works for you and others. it has NEVER helped me....even when i did believe, long ago. ive had it since the day i was BORN which i remember but that is for another thread. im happy to know SOME can break out of it. gives me hope.. but not really. im forty two now, havent been able to stop SP. not through prayer, nor changing my breathing, cant find a way to make it stop. but i still fight it, as soon as i feel the buzzing and hear the ringing. it comes on so damn fast. |
Nachos User ID: 48950200 Australia 10/27/2013 09:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | sleep paralysis is like you being at a gate to the world of lucid dreaming ( and OBEs ) just lift out of your body to go into an OBE, or close your eyes and imagine a dream until you know you have entered the dream (would be easier to know if you imagine a noisy dream like a rainforest) |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 24288365 United States 10/27/2013 10:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | although i have never experienced presences like a majority of others, there was ONE time i tried to turn the tables and explore what was happening. the SOUND that comes, that buzzing, the frequency, i decided to follow it to its source. this happened very fast so im not sure it wasnt my imagination. i followed the sound and got a FLASH of a picture. it was a grey, behind a console so i only saw its head. i stared at it and it noticed i could see it. i swear it seemed to get irritated and promptly turned up the frequency louder which shut me down. i havent tried to follow the sound after that. and i have never had any grey abductions that im aware of. not one. |
Nachos User ID: 48950200 Australia 10/27/2013 10:03 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | if SP really IS from abduction id be much more relieved. Anonymous Coward User ID: 3947141 United States 10/31/2013 12:39 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Had sleep paralysis multiple times, sometimes fairly pleasant and trippy, sometimes absolutely horrifying to a degree that cannot normally be experienced in your life. Occasionally accompanied with buzzing, ringing. Occasionally I am fooled by the experience but have always been a vivid powerful dreamer, who can lucidly control dreams to some extent(sometimes). Lots of things attribute to sleep paralysis. I just started a night shift job and, as always that sort of sleep pattern disturbance is a sure fire way to get sleep paralysis. Being absolutely exhausted or stressed is a causal factor. Mine usually happens as I drift off, which helps prevent a lot of terror. But those fucking shadow guys, man, I challenge you to experience that and maintain composure and calm. I'm at the point of recognizing the sleep paralysis and understanding it, but it is the single most terrifying thing I can imagine. That guy always approaches slowly, through a doorway no less, my room is always exactly true to life, which adds to the vividness. He leans over me as I sit helpless, and usually puts his face right over mine. At this point I am struggling hard, can't move, sometimes recognize it as a dream which never really helps my terror much. Today it happened(first time in a while), which led me to post in this thread. I had just drifted off when Mr. Creepy walks in. He leans over me, always moving slowly but with confidence, casting a large trench coatish silhouette, and get his face in my ear, then (a new one for me) he speaks in a whisper, "Hush, hush little puppet." Probably the worst one ever. |
