Ugh.. this is what got me into astronomy. I ended up finding out it was a star the whole time. This time of the year with the colder air and the heat rising off the planet, if there is a brighter start near the horizon even upwards of 45 degrees you'll get this effect.
I would go out the nights afterward and see it regularly. Go get an app that points out stars or something you'll see its just one of the brighter mag starts flashing different colors.
Trust me. I've seen real ufo's and this is just a normal thing.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 44768276 On In5D, I give a screen show from Stellarium showing how there is no star there. When I recorded this several nights ago, I also shown on SkEye how there are no stars in this vicinity. Perhaps next time, you'll watch the video before commenting?
