I once thought only children believed in fairy tales and make believe. The mask is always intended to hide the reality. Wall Street is a Mask hiding financial lies Government is a Mask hiding a corporation Our currency is a Mask hiding a private family who prints it. Our freedom is a Mask hiding the chains that make us a slave to a system we have no option to opt out of. A uniform is a Mask A law is a Mask A court is a Mask A flag is a Mask I would agree with you. It is the Mask that covers the lie, or the (Pretend), the fiction, the non reality. I once thought only children believed in fairy tales and make believe. I look at supposedly the most intelligent and brightest we have to offer get on television (tel-u-a-vision) and put on a show pretending to represent a party that is an elephant, or the party which is the donkey. How much more pretend than that can you get. Are you a donkey little boys and girls? Or are you an elephant little ones? It's time to pick our animal for play time, and you can play along. Tonight, John is the elephant, and Bob is the Donkey! Both say they are for freedom, yet you have none left. but if you pick one of the over and over again, someone will eventually let you out of your cage. Play Pen. No, those bars are their for your own protection, there is alot of bad things out here that might harm you, the boogie man who we gave guns to in Syria, and Mexico might come and get you, so we will forever watch over you, to keep baby comfy and warm! You can watch America's got talent, and pretend for a short while that the outside bullshit world doesn't matter, and none of it will effect you. I'm sorry were you trying to comfort anyone with that? |

Well fuck, thanks for the reminder of just how long the mindblowing list really is....ooooof Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1357958 overwhelming by design. You have gotten use to coming here, and absorbing and only being mad at the most recent assault of the day. It is easy to forget how far they have gone. Sorry. Just think of this though, how many things are pinned, here every day, every single day, day, after day, after day, for years now. I didn't even scratch the surface. I once thought only children believed in fairy tales and make believe. We pretend to elect those who represent us, yet you have never had an election for those who sit on the Federal Reserve, those who represent you at the United Nations, or anyone representing you at the IMF, or World Bank. Banks have all become part of the Government through bailouts, did you get to vote for any of them? Didn't think so, and that is if you even believe that the elections we have are actually fair, and you don't think you are voting for frauds and puppets put in front of you. Just look at congress, and the senate, and tell me that those people are the best we can do. What pretend. |

I once thought only children believed in fairy tales and make believe. I'm pretending that it's all good and that everything's coming up roses, and it seems to be working! Quoting: Northman Pretend they won't come for you Pretend when your neighbors disappear you will still be fine Pretend when they put you in a camp, or a ghetto that it's just for a short time Pretend when they take you to the rail road, that you are going on vacation and getting to travel Pretend when you get to the camp, that it is fun to be with people like you. Pretend that whenever you are starving you are at a resort for weight loss Pretend when they strip you and take you to the showers that it is fun to be naked Pretend when the gas opens up that you are just going to take a nap for a short time. Oddly enough that might be the best strategy. Just keep pretending my friend, I'm not saying nothing bad won't happen, but you will pretend that it is for the good, so it won't matter I guess. |

I think that this fits well with several operating metaphors in 21st century America: Both the vampire and now the zombie have been predominant in american pop culture. Both are forms of the undead. Perfect metaphors for late stage capital failure America - essentially we are dead and we don't even known it or using your locution we pretend to be alive and that everything's normal when the fact of the matter iz that we - our system and way of life - are already dead. Bravo! |

Kind of like A land of laws ruled by outlaws Those who truly control your life are never on the ballot Justice, stands for Just US (Gerald Celente) But I agree, it made everything clear to me as well when put that way. |

Bravo! Some indigenous cultures would call the western man dead, because his spiritual progress was lacking, have heard this a few times, it is also why it is called a spiritual awakening, as before that, you are for all intents and purposes to the indigenous shaman, dead. |
