The Sun emits EM radiation across most of the electromagnetic spectrum. Although the Sun produces Gamma rays as a result of the nuclear fusion process, these super high energy photons are converted to lower energy photons before they reach the Sun's surface and are emitted out into space. As a result, the Sun does not emit gamma rays.

So nice try, but solar wind protons are not reaching ground level and emitting high energy gamma rays, in the range of 600-800KeV.


But more obviously, if tokyo is 10 X higher, then it stands to reason that at least 1/10th of that radiation will be traveling accross the pacific on the jetstream and hitting North America.

Radiation levels around the actual Fukshima nuclear pwoer plant are massively high. even the forests to the north of it are massively high.
The forest to the north for example is currently at 4,600uSv/hr which is 552,000 CPM.

Thats 772 mSv in just a week.
in 5 weeks you would probably be dead.

Thanks for that info AC. I keep seeing readings in my area that are over 100cpm. I was thinking it wasn't bad but it's 4x higher than background.

I live near spokane Wa. When you zoom in all the way to the locater it shows its location in the middle of the street?

Also with billing Mt. Its shows the indicator on top of Crown plaza in the parking lot.
