The giraffe hunters who pay £10,000 to shoot the gentle giants with guns and bows for sport

This is just so wrong on so many levels, breaks my heart to hear these kind of stories. We have species going extinct daily, and this...disgusting. If you're not going to eat it, don't shoot it for a trophy, plus, what kind of real sport is this, they are sitting ducks, wow, aren't they big game hunters.

Small people (and I'm not talking about height) become bullies when they have the upper hand but are usually quite weak and insecure when playing on an even field.

There are societies that will have their security forces bash your skull in or break your bones for wearing a shirt with a peace sign on it. The same goes for suggesting love is a good thing. So your surprised that people will go shoot Giraffes or any other living animal?

Not surprised at all, disgusted. P.S. And my husband/son do hunt, deer/pheasant, we eat what is killed, they are NOT on the endangered list...Giraffes are running out of habitat, and it'll just be a matter of time if this continues.

I'm not a certifiable tree hugger, but I'm also dead set against allowing this type of trophy hunting for sport, when the animals continued existence is at risk, plenty of other things to hunt where you are not jeopardizing extinction.

Plus, they really are sitting ducks...no sport in this. Like shooting fish in a barrel.
