Frank is an anti pope and not even remotely Catholic...
compare his theology and what he holds to the dogmatic teaching of the Catholic Church; His does not compare...
he doesn't hold the teachings of the RCC. BTW, Rome is apostate since 1959 and John XXIII and his Vatican II council...

Being the very organization in which was created to thwart the Protestant Reformation - which, by the way, is celebrated on October 31st - it comes to no surprise when he makes statements opposed to Christian fundamentalism. Furthermore, it's rather telling that the spirit of ecumenicalism
is fraudulent when the offer of unity is not extended to a certain sect of Christianity, i.e., Reformed and Evangelical Christian denominations.
 Quoting: Sitting Duck

He is making statements in total contradiction to the Bible as a whole, and particularly to the 10 Commandments, the basis of the Judeo-Christian beliefs.

Matthew 7:15-20
King James Version (KJV)
15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

ALL Christians fall under the same category as far as their religion goes, no matter what they call their various sects. All of it is sickness.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48175751

Agreed but right wing fundamentalists are heading to the same place Islam is.

Christians have been way too passive, the message shouldn't be "please ignore the creeping homosexual agenda being pushed on children, please ignore the loss of your culture/religion to foreigners from other nations, please ignore everything & continue to be a pushover."

Extremism is wrong, however today the extremists in power are on the left, not on the right. It's time Christians pushed back, it's time they denounce these "western values" that are not even values but abominations.

Nope your surely wrong. You may believe what you believe about Christianity, but those who truly follow the word of God know better than to say we are all the same. I don't pray to Mary nor look up to the Pope (nor any man). My trust and belief is in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who died on the cross for my sins.

The other day I found the following

Dreadragon Flame 1 day ago
Unfortunately, the "Jesus" that is being referred to in the Bible is NOT the person for whom the (highly embellished) stories referred to. The name of that individual was actually Emmanuel. The Masonic Order via King James and Lord Byron replaced the name with JeSus, which refers to Je Zeus, and now has people unknowingly worshiping THEIR god Jupiter (Zeus). The insistence that people pray in Jesus' name automatically invokes power to the Masons and does absolutely NOTHING for the individual.

Pray to "Christ" as derived from the sacred word "KRYSTALLAH" if you wish to be one with the Christ consciousness, but DO NOT pray to Jesus... THIS is the 'revelation' this is going to rock the faith of millions and is the 'unveiling of truth'.

so I did some research and found the following
Matthew 1 v 23
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Isaiah 7 v 14
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

The name Jesus has only been around for 300 - 400 years
In the KJV 1611 the name is Iesus
Satan has got his fingers deep inside the Bible, unbelievable deception
The Hebrew name is Yahshua

Unfortunately, what you missed (or failed to take note of) is a portion you quoted about a virgin giving birth.

It's a lie.

Let's consider one fact that's written in the scriptures: The Most High, when scolding His people, tells them that He does NOT change, He is the same always and forever.

Ok. So we know that part. Now, since He doesn't change, let's consider His law about mixing unlike seed (diverse/different). He says in the Levitical Law that it is NOT lawful to mix unlike seed with unlike seed, and that to do so is punishable.

His people were also instructed to NOT plant seeds of a different species in the same ground plot. They couldn't even interweave threads together to make a garment if that thread came from two different animals.

And since we know those basic things about the Most High, then we know that He would NEVER impregnate a human female to reproduce offspring. In fact, when He made Adam, He did so by hand, the same for Adam's wife.

AND He severely punished certain angels who developed a nasty habit of having intercourse with human females. That's in the scriptures too. Why? Because females are made from earth, and only the seed of a human male can be planted inside of her--NOT the seed of an angel. To do so would mean breaking a Law of nature that the Most High established: seeds that are of a different kind cannot be mixed.

So Christianity's very foundation, of a god impregnating a human female, is just the same old story of angels (gods) fooling around with human females and reproducing a hybrid offspring on this planet. And it is that "son"--the Son of Destruction--that has taken control of this planet even though he knows he is not the rightful ruler of it
(Genesis 3:15).

Christianity can go back into the pits of hell it was pulled out of.

Many church-going *true* Catholic's who believe in the catechism are opening up to what this Pope is about everyday.

To those who say, well he's just trying to make money/fill the pews, the people he's saying these things for don't go to Mass or financially support their parish.

He's pushing away most Catholics. Does he want to break the church?

He's the Barack Obama of Catholicism, IMO.

Pope Francis has been very clear about how he feels about ideological purity in religion. He’s been particularly critical of right-wing Christian fundamentalism. Pope Francis has shifted the focus of the Catholic Church to issues facing the poor and the sick. He has railed against economic inequality and has criticized the anti-gay and anti-abortion strains that have come to dominate the Christian Right here in America. Such ideological extremism is dangerous, not only to Christianity, but to the world. And Pope Francis said as much last Thursday.

This may be in part why Pope Francis has been described as the "Black Pope" (beyond the possibility he may be the last).

He will further marginalize the TRUTH. The TRUTH is what will set souls free. Not the lukewarm embracing tolerance of UNTRUTH disguised as the agape LOVE of Jesus. Further, Christ came to divide the lambs from the goats and not to unite them under heresy.

Ideology is the basis for the context of religion and dogma. Ideology is the basis for having a moral compass. Ideology is the basis for belief and faith. You cannot separate one from the other. To do so is to begin dismantling the foundations of Christianity itself.
And that is the work of the Devil.

I respect your opinion and perhaps you are much more informed than I am but I'm not so sure he has taken any stance or opinion on anything. He certainly has not formally addressed the Catholic Church in the US. From what I have seen he seems to have a mish-mash of conflicting opinions and imho he is not an articulate pope.

Most popes don't have an opinion on social issues unless they are in conformity with the general Illuminati world view including bankers and corporate heads.

If a pope does have a teaching or opinion Catholic Church doctrine it's generally known & published as something called an "encyclical".

If the Pope is latent Marxist *(he grew up in a socialist household where Mummy & Daddy embraced socialism) I would be adverse to his socio-political philosophy.

This is why I have no trust in the Catholic Church-they are all a bunch of mouth breathers.

Francis is not criticizing Protestants--he really couldn't care less about them either way. Francis is viciously attacking Pope Benedict!

Disregard the secular media reports, and instead read the Vatican's own article on Francis' controversial homily:

[link to en.radiovaticana.va]
---
He reiterated that without prayer, one abandons the faith and descends into ideology and moralism.

Today, the Pope said, Jesus speaks to us about the “image of the [lock]”; it is “the image of those Christians who have the key in their hand, but take it away, without opening the door.” Worse still, “they keep the door closed” and “don’t allow anyone to enter.” In so doing, they themselves do not enter. The “lack of Christian witness does this,” he said, and “when this Christian is a priest, a bishop or a Pope it is worse.” But, the Pope asks, how does it happen that a “Christian falls into this attitude” of keeping the key to the Church in his pocket, with the door closed?

“The faith passes, so to speak, through a distiller and becomes ideology. And ideology does not beckon [people]. In ideologies there is not Jesus: in his tenderness, his love, his meekness. And ideologies are rigid, always. Of every sign: rigid. And when a Christian becomes a disciple of the ideology, he has lost the faith: he is no longer a disciple of Jesus, he is a disciple of this attitude of thought… For this reason Jesus said to them: ‘You have taken away the key of knowledge.’ The knowledge of Jesus is transformed into an ideological and also moralistic knowledge, because these close the door with many requirements.”

The Pope continued, Jesus told us: “You burden the shoulders of people [with] many things; only one is necessary.”

The pope continued: “It is one thing to pray, and another thing to say prayers.”

“These do not pray, abandoning the faith and transforming it into moralistic, casuistic ideology, without Jesus.”
---

Francis is asserting that Pope Benedict:
- Is "rigid"
- "Has lost the faith"
- "Is no longer a disciple of Jesus"
- Is "without Jesus."

However, Francis is really just showing his own intellectual and moral bankruptcy:

- An ideology, as Wikipedia correctly defines it, is a coherent set of principles that determines one’s goals and actions. Any religion must be an ideology, or it is not a religion at all. The word ideology has developed a somewhat negative connotation only because it is usually and disparagingly applied to people who treat an economic or political theory (e.g., Marxism or capitalism) as their substitute religion. Francis' attack on "ideology" is an assertion, almost in so many words, that Catholicism should not be a religion at all!

- Moralism, according to Merriam-Webster's more recent definition, is an “exaggerated” (!) emphasis on morality. Needless to say, the very concept of an “exaggerated” emphasis on morality can only be held by someone who considers other matters more important. Francis is asserting that Pope Benedict has been emphasizing morality way too much—as if something else deserves priority!

- Francis calls Pope Benedict "rigid" simply because Benedict has firm moral principles, whereas Francis does not.

- Francis attacks Pope Benedict for reciting precomposed prayers such as the Our Father--as if Francis can compose better prayers than Christ Himself!

- Casuistry, in modern usage (according to Wikipedia), has come to mean “a quibbling or evasive way of dealing with difficult cases of duty.” Here, Francis accuses Pope Benedict of exactly what Francis himself is most guilty of. In fact, Francis does that a lot: cynically throwing at others the accusations that could very justly be made about himself. In recent months he has attacked others for "narcissism," "Pelagianism," etc.--words which apply much better to himself.

- Francis deliberately misinterprets Luke 11:52, in which Jesus says, “Woe to you, scholars of the law! You have taken away the key of knowledge. You yourselves did not enter and you stopped those trying to enter.” Jesus was not referring to morality here at all, but "knowledge"--i.e., the fact that He was the Messiah. It is Francis who either does not accept Jesus' Messiahship, or considers it unimportant and therefore not worth mentioning to others. After all, Francis says that atheists can get to heaven without bothering to believe in anything beyond their own arrogance.

- Francis deceitfully combines two completely different quotes of Jesus into one. In Luke 11:46, Jesus says, “You impose on people burdens hard to carry, but you yourselves do not lift one finger to touch them.” Jesus is clearly not disrespecting the need for moral precepts; he is merely pointing out that people need help in fulfilling them. In the completely different context of Luke 10:41-42, Jesus says, “Martha, Martha, you are anxious and worried about many things. There is need of only one thing. Mary has chosen the better part and it will not be taken from her.” Jesus is not denying the force of moral law here either. Rather, he is saying that listening to God takes precedence over worldly busy-ness.

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Evangelicals are always trying to convert people to their prehistoric views and power structure. Jews don't do that.

Francis has deliberately chosen an unusual living arrangement that avoids the presence of women but perhaps increases the ease of entertaining "overnight guests."

The Vatican’s chief spokesman, the Rev. Federico Lombardi, explained on Tuesday (March 26) that Francis will live “until further notice” in a suite in the Santa Martha Residence, a modern Vatican guesthouse for priests and bishops who work in the Roman Curia or who are visiting the Vatican for meetings and conferences.
...
The pontiff’s choice is a consequence of his desire to adopt a “simple” living arrangement that allows him “to live in community” with other priests and bishops, Lombardi explained.
...
Four consecrated women from the Communion and Liberation movement served in the papal apartment under Benedict.

Well, he should know if his comrades are sick or not; he's a Pope so he's def qualified to gauge whether or not someone else is suffering from his malady.

Whatever! He's not the head of my church. I believe what the bible says only and not man (nor Pope).

ALL Christians fall under the same category as far as their religion goes, no matter what they call their various sects. All of it is sickness.
