Something tells me they would be less than thrilled if I lost this thing! I didn't say to actually "lose it". I said go to DOL and TELL THE DOL you lost it and you want a plain license. Now you have two licenses. One without a chip that you normally carry within the States, and the other you KEEP, but only carry with you when you know you are going to cross the border. Your company does not need to know anything. If anybody asks, just say you found the one you "lost". Just remember to take the chipped license when you cross the border. If you need to carry the chipped license EVERY DAY, then there is no need to do this. |
