hatch battener User ID: 49267159 United States 11/01/2013 09:33 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Significant event. At 323 reports so far, this will likely become the fifth biggest meteor event in the history of the AMS. The current fifth biggest event happened in 2010 with 324 reports, so this is surely to beat that when the stragglers come in. [link to www.amsmeteors.org] Bottom line, with this most recent one, likely 4 of the top 5 biggest meteor events have happened within the past 35 days, and rounding out the top 5, the biggest event in March or this year. And there's nothing anyone can do to stop it! |

For all anyone knows, the continual launches of space craft could be carry loads of small iron chunks and releasing them. Nobody would be the wiser - like 99.999999999999% of Earth's population. Do not underestimate men who seek to Instill fear to further their own plans. |

I live in rural Alberta (Western Canada) and have seen 3 fireballs in the last two months personally. One in early September and two this week. I have on the rare occasion seen them in the past but never so common as this. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 48913267 United States 11/01/2013 12:10 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | No freaking way! My friend said he saw the sky light up when he was eating breakfast that morning and thought it was a nuclear explosion or something for a second. I live in Beaverton outside of Portland, OR. He said it looked like God took a flash photo. Had no idea what to make of it. Crazy. |
