I've lived with sleep paralysis for 25 years. Sometimes It would happen several times in the same night.
I'm not going to go in to detail because it's pretty well documented what it is. The cause is what is unresolved in many people's minds.
As i've gotten older the episodes have decrease a lot but I still get an episode on about 3-4 times a month on average.
I'VE HEARD THIS FOR YEARS. CALL OUT TO JESUS CHRIST. IT HAS NEVER WORKED FOR ME AND I'M A CHRISTIAN. ALL IT DID WAS MAKE ME QUESTION MY FAITH SINCE IT DIDN'T WORK FOR ME YET IT IS CLAIMED TO WORK FOR EVERYONE ELSE
As for the claim there are two types. I do not believe that. I think it has to do with how much you panic during the episode. What you were dreaming before\while it happens.
When I have an episode if I DO NOT fight it it SEEMS like I can get up and walk around and I will actually fool myself and as soon as I try to fight it...boom...im back lying frozen in bed. NO IT'S NOT ASTRAL PROJECTION. IT"S JUST MY MIND
