Do you know that 99.99999% of this worlds population are subject to the .00001 of the population that knows what goes up in the cargo holds of their 'satellites' and 'rockets'?

Can not paratroopers fall out of the back end of a cargo plane?

Well, iron chunks can fall out of the back end of these things put in space, and would they not reign down as fireballs?

Would we know any difference?

that is a very good point!

This was actually due to a wind storm that went through Ontario and Quebec
area the end of last week. There where lots of power outages due to fallen tree
limbs on power lines right across the east coast of Canada.
A direct short on one of those hot lines would then cause the other to arc towards
the new ground potential of that line. Sorry to kill your DOOM.

Actually I am surprised that you do not know more if you really worked in the
the electrical industry. High voltage will cause arcing like this just take a look
on YT for electrical power wires arcing and you can see many video like this,
nothing new or ISON created but in your head!

The canadian electric fireball, as cool as it looks is a totally natural phenomenon, no doom there. But the debris field thing.. Well i've seen like 20 fireballs in the last 2 months.. in increasing frequency.

BS, if the current drawn buy the short does not exceed the breaker limit.
Also breaker are not like fuses and work with a bi-metalic strip that pops
back into position when it gets hot due to current overload.
The arcing was not connected continuously as it jumped and raced back
across the lines most likely not enough to pop the breaker or transformer feeding it.

Our mains supply in the UK is around 240v, I was always under the impression yours was around 115v? Not 115,000 volts??!!

The energy passes through the transformer before supplying houses. The transformer would blow first as it did in the video

In a city or town there are usually several people on one transformer. In rural area there is a single transformer per house in alot of cases There are 7,200 vollts before the transformer the transformer reduces it to 240 volts

This is an assumption that as it passed through the asteroid belt it pushed objects ahead of it in various directions.

As they would be closely related to the speed of ISON one could assume they would arrive here on or after ISON crossed our path!

Therefore, there should be a vast increase of meteor sightings during November if this theory is correct!
