Message Subject Two Witnesses of Revelation 11.3 and the Branch

Good day, Friends!

I was just perusing other threads and noticed the fallacy of some who think the brotherhood between Judah and Israel is still in tact. In fact, there are some lost souls who believe one of the Two Witnesses of Rev. 11.3 will come from the tribe of Judah, and the other, will come from the tribe of Israel.
Scripture is very clear that this brotherhood was broken.

Zechariah 11.14 is clear: Then I broke my second staff called Union, breaking the family bond between Judah and Israel.

This happens in NT time as Zech 11:12-13 reveals to us. But we know from history and from what Scripture has foretold that there is no literal Israel as compared with Judah today, for the Assyrians brought them into captivity in OT time, from which they never returned.

May God Bless you,

I believe that the tribe of Dan will have an important involvement.
It has something to do with Dan biting the feets of the horses making the riders fall.

Yes! The tribe of Dan symbolizes the man child in Rev.12.5.

From Scripture, we know they will be fierce, warrior like fighters.

Can you tell me how you made the connection between Dan and the man child and what that means?

This is an area I have not dived into much at all. I have wanted to but have not got the time yet. Here is what I have noted that the tribes listed in revelation are missing the tribe of Dan. But if you go back into Ezekiel 48 the description of does list them and Levi. There are some discrepancies in the listing of the tribes even between different scriptural versions of revelation depending on what source or translation you are looking at. Manasses is typically listed in revelation in our text at the cost of excluding Dan while the Talmud includes them. Ephraim is another issue listed in one but not the other.
