I made 65,000/yr in California and paid 3,500 in income taxes and $500/yr on a 350,000 dollar home.

I make 50,000/yr here in Texas and pay $5000/yr in property taxes on a 200,000 dollar home.



So yea overall California took about 6% of my income in taxes while Texas takes 10%.


So who has the higher fucking taxes?

This state is a Joke. Half the neighborhoods don't even have sidewalks and the other half have no sewer connections forcing you to have a septic tank.

Sadly, I believe it's way past the time that someone could be in Congress and effect any meaningful change at all.

Everything the left hated about Bush, Obama and Democrats have not only continued but embraced and expanded:

1. Used the NSA surveillance State to monitor American citizens and allies. 4th Amendment dead.
2. Killed innocent civilians/children in the ME with drones.
3. Committed unconstitutional acts of war against sovereign nations.
4. Murdered an American without a trial.
5. Increased the national debt to disasterous levels.
6. Never passed a budget. Everything proposed has been shelved and/or ignored by Harry Reid.
7. Went after whistleblowers, who are supposed to be protected and heard.
8. Then there's the scandals: Benghazi, Fast & Furious.
9. Lost 750 million on Solyndra after warnings that funding should be discontinued.
10. The Obamacare disater, including an illegal mandate and wavers for the protected political class.
11. Signed an EO that gives INTERPOL/foreign mercenaries legal jurisdiction on American soil = treason.
12. Provided US taxpayer money to terrorists regimes in the ME. Supported the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt and armed Al Qae'da for an illegal proxy war to overthrow the government of Syria.
13. Used the IRS to go after conservative political enemies.
14. and let's not leave out that he's lied (mispoke ) about damn near everything.

The insanity goes on and on and it's way worse than anything Bush did. Hell, they were openly calling for Bush's assassination for much less than this and it largely went ignored.

But Obama gets a free pass. These were all of the reasons the Democrats cried about Bush in 2008, yet here they are... just happy as pigs in shit with all of it, even though the threats to our liberties are much more ominous.

Bush kicked the Bill of Rights in the nuts, Obama and the radical progressives took the powermadness to a whole new level. Stay ignorant libtards, 'cause the ship is burning and you're going down with it too!

So he's been complicit in this, known it was going on and didn't speak up before the 2nd election to inform people - he's only just now speaking out because he wants to run for congress. If you think someone who stood by silently all those years including and especially while Obama was running all this horseshit - if you think someone like that is doing this out of the goodness and newfound concern for the people, you'd be an idiot.

There are more people in this country that want handouts than wish to truly work for a living.

The plan has always been to get more and more people dependent on the government and to scare them into voting for the dems.

"Vote democrat or lose the benefits!"

What is truly sad is that it's the mentality of at least half of this country now. They are the "welfare generation". All accomplished in 6 years.

Our so called representatives, rebub or dem, have allowed it!

This "change" is part of a playbook to take the last of our freedoms away and so far it's been flawless. I can only hope that a breaking point will initiate sooner than later for not just us, but more importantly for the generations to come.

In Virginia they had a choice between an unbalanced Tea Partier and a thief. Someone invading your bedroom vs someone invading your pocket. The Libertarian candidate was blocked by Ron Paul who said a vote for the Libertarian candidate was a vote for the Republican. Although it was a bit of a mess (counties still using the touchscreen systems instead of the 'new' paper reported problems) I really don't think it was fraudulent. The Tea Party candidate sounded like he was going to spend all his time with religious monitoring of oral sex and abortion.

That was fake libertarian!!!! He was already exposed yesterday as it turns out that Obama supporters paid to have that guy on the ballot to steal votes from Republican candidate!
