Electric Universe and Electric Comet folks - ISON predictions wanted.
The EU and Electric Comet folks are quite vocal about how these ideas are superior to the accepted theories.

Well, let's have it.

What, exactly, will happen with ISON or due to ISON that is in conflict with the accepted theories?
How do the EU & EC people propose to document and collect data concerning these effects and actions of ISON?
What data sources are they going to use to measure these things?
Does McCanney even own a pair of Tasco binoculars let alone a telescope?
How about the Thunderdolts? Do they own a telescope? How many probes to comets have they launched? Have they a 40 meter dish in their backyard to receive DSN data?

About your predictions:
Vague generalities are not forecasts or predictions. Anyone can wave their hand and say, "There will be more bad weather." That is meaningless.
In like manner, saying, "There will be solar flares and CMEs." is meaningless since there are always flares and CMEs and it is solar max. at this time, weak as it may be.
See this thread amongst many others for flares & CMEs that are just part of the natural cycle of the sun:
Thread: SOLAR WATCH * 312 M & 25 X FLARES starting 3-7-2011 (Updated Daily)

The same thing goes for all other natural occurrences. If it happens naturally, it is impossible to make a statement about the causality with a dataset consisting of n=1 (ISON). If you don't understand that, you don't understand science and the natural world and the EU and EC ideas are not scientific.

So I ask the EU and EC fans to give us something unusual that will happen which is impossible under conventional science.
You know, something like - "Once ISON is xxxxxxxx and the sun is xxxxxxx then a 10 million mile long spark will be seen between the two."
or -
"Once ISON is xxxxxxx from Earth, there will be seen a 10 times increase in xxx MeV gamma radiation flux due to (name the process)."
or -
"At xxxxx point in its orbit the electromagnetic forces will overwhelm gravity (for those of you who actually believe gravity exists), and ISON's orbit will markedly change to this new orbit (Describing the new orbit or better still - generate a new EU ephemeris). Minor changes that conventional science expects and produces do not count. Indeed, you will have to produce your own ephemerides since using the data from "conventional science" tacitly acknowledges that conventional science knows more than the EU and EC proponents. That should be no problem for the Thunderdolts and McCanney, right? This is, after all, a perfect time to show "The Man" just how wrong they are and how right you are... correct?

That kinda' stuff.

Start your predictions...

You are on a conspiracy forum, why do you not discuss these things with people who could give you the answers you know people can not give here, talk to Talbot or the others.
Read the work of the scientists doing the research on those kind of issues and once you have you can use your ageing scientific principles and laws to argue your point.

Haven't the Thunderdolts made a series of precise predictions for this comet?
No?

This is their bread and butter. You'd think they'd be issuing press releases expounding on their detailed predictions for future events from ISON which are unique to their fantasy... err.... "theory".

You would think that their minions and acolytes, who seem to be quite vocal here at GLP until you ask for details or some actual science, would step up and copy/paste the fantastic predictions by the EU and EC "scientists" just to 'stick it to The Man.'

You'd think.

But it seems they are holding an empty bag.
Apparently providing detailed predictions would cut into their marketing time and budget.

Here is some info on comets but, no one in their right mind would make predictions on one comet and risk being wrong.

[link to www.thunderbolts.info]

However, in past events, comets can interact with planets, and like was said about Mars, they can go comet, ie grow corona's. Though actually going comet occurs when any body moves out of orbit. So if earth moves she would go comet.

I can imagine they would affect the core if they're interacting in a serious way. Pole shift, tilt and axis?

Planetary scarring. Thunder and lightening. That might be a pretty big comet, or even a rogue planet or moon doing that though.

But Ison likely to do that? Not sure at all. I don't like it turning green, and we're going through a small portion of the dust in January, for that could be a wormwood event.

Also, how big is the charge and will the sun amp it up or dispell it?

I imagine Ison is just a marker for them though.

Good points i guess, perhaps they are not yet in the position to predict much, considering they are reliant on info that they themselves would have reason to believe could be wrong to start with and considering that no scientist can start predicting anything untill the theory if finished, nor should they have to.
THanks for the comments about Velikovsky, speaks volumes.

I think one of the most important info is that, planets/moons and larger items, that go out of orbit, or go rogue, Go Comet!

So, some comets might be something else, not a little electric meteor/space rock, but something else, something bigger.

Thats when I think major damage can occur, and also that discharge exchange and toxicity could be a problem with some of them, at least according to myths of old and scarring on mars.

Without hitting us, something big hitting us would be a whole different event.

Yes, yes.

Handwaving generalities once again.

No science. No predictions. Nothing but a lot of words.
Fairy tales are also nothing but a lot of words.
Science is predictive.
EU and EC aren't predictive. They aren't science...

Mars "went comet"? Who said except one delusional old woman on RubeTube and J. McCanney the masseuse? Got any actual evidence? Do the Thunderdolts agree with this (and make themselves even greater laughing-stocks)?

I hate to break it to you, but the Earth is moving right now.
Are we a comet right now?

Exactly how would a comet cause a pole shift on earth without colliding with it?
Do you know that a magnetar couldn't cause a pole shift?
Do the maths. There isn't enough differential force generated, even by a magnetar, to cause a pole shift.
So much for any "science" involved in the "pole shift" idea.

The rest of the stuff you quote is nothing more than fantasy from the EU marketeers. It is not science. It is not fact. It is fantasy.
Anyone can say a bunch of words. Providing evidence that they mean something and represent reality is quite different.

Where are the EU and EC predictions?

The silence is deafening.

As you know, "theory" is about as good as it gets in science.

The word means something very specific in science.
It doesn't mean "wild-ass guess" as it does in conversational English.
It doesn't mean "I dropped out of high school but I think my drug fueled fantasies are worthy of consideration and not ridicule."

It means an ordered, systematic description of an aspect of nature that agrees with all previous observations and has the power to make predictions about future observations.

It is about as powerful a standing as an hypothesis can get.

In woowooville, their disjointed, irrational and incoherent ravings have equal footing with scientific theories because, hey, they used the same word to describe them...

Still waiting for the Electric Universe and Electric Comet proponents to post their predictions for ISON like any good theory should be able to do.

You'll get no argument from me if you post an actual unique prediction that conventional science would not produce.

Let's see if you're "theory" can stand the test that real scientific theories withstand every day.

What exactly are they supposed to say? Is there something that makes ISON special....?

It's just a comet, the only reason it's big news is because some wahoo's said ti would be the brightest comet ever blah blah blah, based on diddly. The only mention for ISON coming from the EU was some hopeful musings on a discharge to mars.

Where is GR and SR theories have to be patched every time someone looks up. The creator of the theories knew it wasn't right.

He knew that his model was simply a semi functional mathematical description of observation, that it could be used to predict somethings, but not everything. I suppose you're one of those guys that thinks Atomic Clocks and GPS is proof of relativity.....

But hey, yeah come to a forum where 60% of the user's think that we haven't even landed on the moon, Nibiru is more than some BS made up by a guy in the 70's and Atlantis was found in Antarctica, no wait, Cuba, oh yeah, off the coast of spain, oh I mean Argentina.

Did you get spanked on the big boy forums and now your looking for easy targets here?

Peer review? You don't mean you morons are still pushing that article in an electrical engineering journal, do you?
That is a sad joke. I mean, all astrophysicists avidly read electrical engineering journals for the latest groundbreaking cosmology.
Tards.

And then you produce a RubeTube vid about... Not ISON.
Congratulations, you've done exactly what I expected. Produced a lot of words and indignant outrage but produced:
Absolutely Nothing.
Just like the EU fantasy... an empty bag.

Yes, real scientists are studying plasma physics, as opposed to RubeTube scientists with grade-school educations babbling on about "Electric Comets".
Yes, yes. CERN scientists are reading your "Electric Universe" crapola since they also enjoy a good laugh during break time.
And again, with all your Sturm und Drang you've provided:
Absolutely Nothing.
Just like the EU fantasy.

Why am I not surprised.

Can't you just screw up enough courage to make one, just one, prediction?

Didn't think so.

Maybe some other EU fan can produce an EU prediction for ISON before the end of the century.

Re: Electric Universe and Electric Comet folks - ISON predictions wanted.
I don't really know why Im bothering to reply to someone who can't even use google, and if you CAN use google then you are just a jerk looking for a fight.

I don't know why either. Reality 420 just trolls the boards to make himself feel smart.

Ahhh, a fan.

Can you provide a prediction for ISON from the EU fantasy which is completely opposed to conventional science?

Please post it so if it is correct we have verification that the prediction was made before the fact.

Please read the OP so you can select the best EU prediction that doesn't duplicate conventional science.
It also must happen; just like conventional science can predict ISON's position with exquisite accuracy.
If EU says EM forces are more important than gravity then I would expect that the orbit conventionally calculated is much different than the EU orbit.

That kind of prediction.

You have the floor...

Produce.

Re: Electric Universe and Electric Comet folks - ISON predictions wanted.
Sure there will be lots of people on here that are able to meet those standards.
You are on a conspiracy forum, why do you not discuss these things with people who could give you the answers you know people can not give here, talk to Talbot or the others.
Read the work of the scientists doing the research on those kind of issues and once you have you can use your ageing scientific principles and laws to argue your point.

Like i said before, you amateur and armchair astronomer researchers always pick a fight with the normal people and not with the real scientists that are the originators of these theories.
Whose thought police are you anyway??

Much as the Electric Universe theory intrigues me, I note that thunderbolts.info has made no mention whatsoever of Comet Ison, or any predictions relating to same.

At least, none that I can find.

I am now suspicious of them.

Re: Electric Universe and Electric Comet folks - ISON predictions wanted.
What exactly are they supposed to say? Is there something that makes ISON special....?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5374354

No, but you RubeTube scientists seem to think comets aren't what conventional science says they are and that EM forces are much more important than gravity (if you even believe gravity exists). And that there are huge electrical discharges from comets, etc.

It is the EUtards who think comets are some sort of huge conspiracy.

Here's your chance to make a prediction which will "stick it to the man." Plus, failure to make any predictions pretty much invalidates any claims you may make in the future about the behaviour of ISON.
- That would be postdicting, don't you know, and any child or charlatan can do that.

It's just a comet, the only reason it's big news is because some wahoo's said ti would be the brightest comet ever blah blah blah, based on diddly. The only mention for ISON coming from the EU was some hopeful musings on a discharge to mars.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5374354

Oh yeah, the giant lightning bolt effect. (snicker)
How did that work out?
Another FAIL?
Are you surprised?
How many giant lightning bolts have the EU "researchers" documented and imaged?
None you say?

Where is GR and SR theories have to be patched every time someone looks up. The creator of the theories knew it wasn't right.

I suppose you're one of those guys that thinks Atomic Clocks and GPS is proof of relativity.....
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5374354

They do? You'll have to produce some evidence for that.
If you provide some citation showing that the calculations from GR or SR had to be refined to include extra parameters that they don't address I'll know you are a true moron.

Never mind, you are a true moron if you don't understand that atomic clocks and GPS are very fundamental demonstrations of the accuracy of GR and SR.
That you apparently don't believe this speaks volumes.

You don't happen to be IDW's twin brother?

Where are the predictions, big mouth?
Babbling your spiel like a carnival barker selling his product seems to be all the EU proponents can do.
That isn't science... it is Kevin Trudeau and Klee Irwin selling crapola to the ignorant rubes.

Put up or shut up.
No ISON postdicting allowed. You have to forecast before the event...
That'll be something new for you, won't it?

That is how science works.

You explain how quantum theory makes any of the predictions that you are asking electric universe theory to make. For EU theory is contesting quantum theory. Other than Ison being an electric body in an electric universe obeying the laws of electromagnetism, I don't know what else the comet has to do w/ EU.

As well you should be.

You've just caught them at a bad time...
before ISON has done anything they can paint as unusual.

If you'd just wait til after something happens they'll be more than happy to take credit for 'predicting' it.
(Chortle. Snort.)

They do seem to be coming up surprisingly short. With all the braying EU fans on GLP I thought that I'd have pages and pages of EU ISON predictions.

And yet I have none.
What a "theory" that apparently can't predict anything.
Oh well.

Re: Electric Universe and Electric Comet folks - ISON predictions wanted.
If you were looking for answers you wouldnt be posting on this forum, all you want is to be an ass and call people tards.

They did make a significant amount of predictions leading up to the deep impact probe which most turned out to be accurate.

I suggest watching the "electric comet" on thunderbolts main youtube page, if you want actual research then you will have to email them and check out their website.

There is no solid evidence, but its an intriguing theory and if true is revolutionary. They made a bunch of predictions about the heliopause as well that were counter to NASA, and turned out correct. So thats not science, but it offers some very interesting food for thought.

Oh boy! The universal bailout for the woowoo -- Quantum.

I do not think that word means what you think it means.

Since when did a comet become a sub-atomic particle?
Enquiring minds want to know.

Yes, EU says that a comet is a dry electrically charged body obeying the laws of em.
I am asking them to use their fantasy to make some predictions about ISON which are valid for electomagnetics but not for mechanics.

They don't seem to be able to come up with anything.

Funny, that.

Re: Electric Universe and Electric Comet folks - ISON predictions wanted.
OP is a very open-minded person. Resorting to calling names is one of the best ways to win an argument.

If you're not averse to reading, check out this e-book that the Thunderbolts team put together. It gives an overview of the principles of the Electric Universe.

As far as the comet goes, it's hard to make claims about something completely unfamiliar to us. The Thunderbolts team is careful to release anything overly outrageous; they mostly just mock NASA when NASA scientists have no clue what is going on. It's still a relatively new science and it's meeting resistance at the institutional level. So, education is the key.

It's not so much that Thunderbolts predicts things, but rather NASA incorrectly predicts events and is confused by the results and Thunderbolts corrects their predictions and more thoroughly explains the results.

One more thing. Watch this micro-documentary on Mars' true plast. This might just blow your mind:

Also, check out ThunderboltsProject's channel on YouTube, a trove of lectures, space news stories, and full-length movies. And that's it. We're not going to hold your hand anymore. Do some actual research on the theory. The Electric Universe theory is very intuitive and is easily digested by non-astrophysicists. You won't find intense calculus equations waiting for you.

Oh, and lose the shitty attitude. If you come to this forum wondering about Electric Comets but ask your questions in a sarcastic fashion, people are less likely to entertain your bullshit ranting.

Done for now and there's so much more. Maybe I'll pounce on this thread again soon.
