Anonymous Coward User ID: 19782831 United States 11/07/2013 11:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The story is that a bunch of democrats who are up for re-election next year met with this creep and begged him to delay Obamacare for another year and Obama said No! I hope democrats realize that there is very little sympathy for them as they supported this to start with, but now they also know that Obama is willing to throw even dems under the bus and cares for nothing but himself... :1106 Ben Stein: Bring the house down |

Quoting: Santa Claustrophobia Unless Website Is Fixed, Many Who Lost Insurance Are Screwed in 38 Days [link to www.breitbart.com] Forget the politics. Just for a moment forget whether you are for or against ObamaCare. Forget the noise, numbers, glitches, and hearings. Quoting: There is a potential catastrophe looming for thousands, if not millions of Americans, and no one in the media is acknowledging it, much less pressing the White House for an answer. According to the Associated Press, 3.5 million Americans have already received cancellation notices from their health insurance companies. Before the end of the year, that number could double. Not all, but too many of these people are being thrown onto the federal ObamaCare exchange which, as you might have heard, is not working. In order to be insured before your now-cancelled insurance expires on January 1, you have to enroll through the ObamaCare site no later than December 15. That is a mere 38 days away. (continued at link) I have several friends who are insured through the ACA. . One white working male with pre existing is now insured and very happy. Another white male self employed electrical contractor. Has been paying 20,000 a year for family coverage. He will now be paying $ 800.00 a month. With better coverage and lower ded. My daughter and her son. She is a white working female. A restaurant manager. Her restaurant does not offer coverage and she always made to much to get her son on Medicaid even though she receives no child support. My brother, actually 2 brothers. 2 white males, college educated (one with a masters). They are both on line getting quotes/comparisons. This is opening up the door for independent contractors to obtain affordable coverage. Who is this, Jay Carney? Absolute bullshit, does their policies come with jellybeans or unicorns? Their policies come with high deductibles and if they got the list of Dr's and hospitals they can use they would probably prefer the old insurance. I did some checking here within blue cross and unless you take the top policy which is considered platinum on the AHA website you can only use certain hospitals, even within a chain of hospitals, you can not go to the better ones, the lower ins coverages of bronze, silver and some gold plans only accept patients to the hospitals considered least desirable. That doesn't even mention the deductibles that have to be paid up front to get treatment. So they may pay 800 per month but when they also have to shell out 6-10 grand instead of 2-3 grand it doesn't seem like a better deal to me. There wasn't one of the Dr's anyone in my family has ever seen on the list of approved network Dr's on any plans blue cross had except the platinium plan network. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 43240432 United States 11/08/2013 12:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ACA or obamacare should be mandatory for all federal and state employees. If the government thinks that's the best for the people, they should have the same. We pay for the government and they have the best care plan, but, barrack said the government is exempt from his own plan. He knows his plan for the people sucks. What's this POS president doing to the country? FBI,NSA,CIA,DHS,FDA,EPA,IRS,EDD,DMV,ATF,HUD,USPS,TSA, etc... What else are we paying for? Very sad for the future. |

Will all Fandango Rangers be losing their coverage, or only a small sliver of them? Perhaps only the ones operating the transponders with smaller collectors and therefore generating less backside intel? |

I have always been asked to pay upfront for the part of a treatment/surgery that was not going to be covered under the insurance. The only exception was at a hospital, when they asked and I said I didn't have it they accepted a partial pmt but at a surgery center they want it all upfront. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 43698054 With socialized medical this person probably would not even know he had cancer and the wait to get help would mean death. I don't know if you noticed, but the rich will always get great care and the poor will get substandard care. How do you think a Doctor feels after spending a fortune getting educated on how to heal people. You think he is gong to sit around and spend huge amounts of time filling out forms provided by the government to get paid, While not even sure he will get paid? Get this through your thick skull dude. The rich will always have good health care. The leeches not so much, nor do they deserve it. There is no way to equalize things, because the cost of becoming a doctor is huge amounts of money. |
