As a Musician based in London, I can tell you from experience that London is saturated with promoters and other forms of middle men looking to exploit your talent to make their living, so best advice is to just go to some live act nights in smaller venues and try find out who their promoter is.

Make a portfolio, i.e. recordings and put them somewhere public like youtube or make a demo and send them out to them. If you've as talented as you say, then you wont have a hard time getting booked for stuff.

Don't expect things just to come easy, this sort of thing you have to work hard for.
