There would appear to be many potential multiple futures, so none one should be able to know for sure. But psychics have been "seeing" into the future (possible futures) since the beginning of recorded time.

(Or, as the reporter says above, “The intrusion of humans into their natural habitat.”) The phrase “They hate our freedom” is never uttered in Starship Troopers, but neither is any other rationale for what the bugs might be thinking.

You forgot to mention that this book was written 40+ years ago - may have been the 50's. I read it in 1995 while I was in the Marines (assigned reading at that via my Lt)...

I recall reading it and thinking how ahead of his tme the author was. Those jump suits in the story are sooner to being a reality. I dont think the movie illustrated them as well as the book did.
