What is more important is what do we do now that this crisis has happened and how is this affecting us in the short-term and long-term.

If Russia and Japan both cover-up the severity of how nuclear energy is affecting their citizens health then we will always be in a situation where we can argue about the situation while the gravity of it is claiming it's victims.

And the lies about the safety of nuclear energy continue while millions die spanning generations thanks to unsafe, unclean nuclear energy.

Will we ever see transparency from Russia or Japan? I doubt it. Seems like everyone is in bed protecting big nuclear. Profits over public safety and health [sic].

From what I've observed radioactive waste doesn't care what we believe, it just keeps on doing it's thing regardless of semantics and beliefs.

Makes me wonder what the next Nuclear reactor disaster is going to look like, will it top Fukushima or be another Chernobyl?

Will warring nations be so naive that they bomb another countries fuel-loaded reactors?

In my opinion, the next major level 7 disaster is already underway at the Hanford site in Washington. Governor Jay Inslee I believe even said it puts the entire columbia river at risk.

That whole area is one of the most beautiful and pristine in the USA...

Hard to imagine the next 20 years for Humanity with all these problems created by Nuclear Energy mishaps and testing.

Pretty scary, I'm 226 miles away from that site up North in Canada... not a far way considering the amount of radioactive pollution there. My friend was telling me about Hanford when we were talking about Fukushima, he made it sound closer.
