I woke up earlier, and decided I needed more sleep. hehe

That was my intention as well, but then my daughter decided she wanted me to play taxi driver and drive her to her friend's house, then pick her up from there so they could come here just an hour and a half later, lol. I'm pretty tired!

Last night when I went to the store to buy what I needed for the blush kamikaze there was a man in the store asking the store owner if he wanted any rose bushes. I was in line behind him so he made the offer to me as well.

He works at Home Depot and had gotten them for a donation/fundraiser for his child's school and the fundraiser was cancelled. He had an SUV and it was FULL of these rose bushes! Lmao, he coudn't even see out of his windows so he was just giving them away.

I took 2 from him. They are double pink knock out roses. I just looked them up online and they are beautiful! Check them out : ) Thought I'd share with you since I probably wouldn't have been at the store when I was had I not been interested in your drink!

It's because you had the typed smile " : ) " and then put the smilie next to it. Maybe because there's no period between the two? Happened to me a bunch of times.

This is my first house. I just closed on it and moved in at the end of July. Before then I was always in an apartment and didn't have to do any lawn care or gardening. I've got some new things to learn now! I actually should have mowed my lawn today. That is now on tomorrow's list, lol. I wish I had someone over here who knew what they were doing

My neighbor is really sweet and she has an amazing yard. I'll probably ask her for some tips

Congratulations! That's wonderful! Gardening is the most rewarding thing I can think of. I have always found peace and serenity in the garden. Even just hand watering is great therapy...the sound of the water hitting the dirt and foliage. And seeing it grow from seed to flower to fruit. You have a lifetime of learning ahead. Best wishes.

My daughter cheers for Pop Warner. Her team won 1st place at the regionals competition last Saturday, making them the 2013 New England Pop Warner Cheerleading Champs. Their reward for this is to compete in the Pop Warner Little Scholars Cheerleading Super Bowl at Disney World for nationals!! Woo hoo

I lived in New England for 5 years when I was in my 20's , on the north shore. cape ann. It's beautiful there!

Yup, I'm right near where you used to be. I live in Lynn (I know, I know) lol. But I work about 45 minutes north of here. Beverly and Manchester are both beautiful! I like it here. It's really the only place I know so I don't have much to compare it to. That might be a good thing, lol.
