There aren't a whole lot of good people left out there. When you find them, hold tight! That is, if they are genuine....

I worked for a software company in Lexington,
they bought a Wisc.- company and hired me for the IT integration.
When that was done they offered me a job out there.
They flew me out, put me on the softball team, seriously, I played 2 playoff games for them.
I liked it, but I declined.
Oh for the road not trodden. ;-`)

Yeah...that was 20 years ago...Everything has changed. I still have a few genuine friends in the world. Lucky me....Yay!

I can count my genuine friends on 1 finger...honestly. I'm referring to my local "friends" that I've met in person lol. And to be even more honest, I feel like I've gotten to know more genuine people through the net than here in person. For that reason I always wondered if maybe it was the area I lived in. So it was actually comforting to hear someone who used to live here say what you did : )

A few of my co-workers lived in Lynn, but most in New Hampshire.

I was impressed by the really old trees.
We don't have many 200-400 year old trees around here.

well I'm glad you won. Lynn has a bad reputation. It's really not that serious, although it's not the greatest place. Always nice to meet someone who is familiar with this area.

I just bought it! I just closed on it and moved in the very end of July. My first home : )

Thanks..the world is a BIG place...the internet makes it seem a little smaller sometimes...sometimes not..Chatting with you brings memories of when I lived here, I was there from 88-91 when Dukakis was Gov, and 128, the technology highway started to fall apart...

Well I will be out in your neck of the woods soon : ) We fly out on Dec. 9th and will be there until Dec. 14th. I'm looking forward to getting away for a little bit

Very nice!! Bar and pool were the selling points for mine. LOL
Mine was built in 1963 by the owner. It is very stuck in the 70s, so I guess at one time, it was ahead of it's time!!

Currently it is NOT beautified, AT ALL, more of a catch all for things. :( A while back I took everything down to re design, and that was as far as I got. I suppose I should do something about that. I like your bar better, especially since it comes with a basement.

I could use a vacation myself..

I was too lazy to take a new picture, that was back in July, but it pretty much looks the same haha. Next time I'll snap the full bar, after I figure out what the heck I will do in there. I have been toying with the idea of having the paneling torn out, but the bar it's self will still be 70s ish.. I have a large Chargers collection, thought maybe football themed, but really not sure what the heck I want to do in there!!

Honestly, looking at yours, I am wondering why I am bothering to re design around the old bar. I guess it's always been cool it was hand built by the original owner, but it will forever be BLAH. I would love something more modern and functional.
