Um, excuse me, but the most peaceful societies were those which were led by women. I'm not spiteful or hateful. Neither is my mother, my best friend, my cousin and a few other females I'm close to. There are hateful and spiteful men and women. How many men have you seen on the news who killed their own children just to get back at their ex-wives/girlfriends? Hate and spite are equal among both genders.

There are good, loving PEOPLE, and spiteful, hateful PEOPLE. Period. One sex isn't better than the other. Both sexes bring something important and vital to the table. If you end up with someone who doesn't appreciate you, quit your whining about picking the wrong person and move on.

I am the person who wrote the first quote that the OP repeated at the beginning of this thread. I am not female. As a matter of fact, I am a male in my 60's with six daughters. As a result of this understanding, I have made it a practice to "listen" to my daughters since childhood. It took me longer to "listen" to my wife, but I came to realize that having a virtuous woman is a blessing beyond measure, and children are "like arrows in the hands of a mighty man--happy is the man whose quiver is full of them".
