WHAT was the FORBIDDEN FRUIT?

genesis is not the real name of the first book of the bible. The book of genesis does not explain how God created the earth and the heavens.It is not the story of creation. The heavens mentioned is not the universe we see at night in the sky. And there is a lot more.....

the word god used in genesis is always plural meaning God is not a single entity....in the original hebrew God is a multi self.....during translation that little fine point was deleted

in the so called creation story NO star or planet is ever mentioned with clarity...in the original hebrew the words sun, star and earth are NOT even mentioned. The english version of genesis, the story we all know was all made up by the early translators. To hide the original text.

Someone has mentioned it, but I do believe that the 'forbidden fruit' was a mushroom. (and a big one at that...)

Forbidden fruit – could be one of the following:

1) Knowledge – the Church don’t want the masses to think or learn – easier to control that way and therefore makes the church leaders appear more intelligent
2) Human Brains (seriously) to keep the masses from cannibalising each other - appears that this was a relatively common practice in those days
3) On a more personal note, Kiwi fruit – as this gives me terrible wind

It was the knowledge that satan shared w/Adam and Eve to put a wedge between God and man because he was jealous of the relationship Adam(man) had w/God. Lucifer(satan) felt left out as being God's highest angel. So, to answer your question..why do you think it was named "The Tree Of Knowledge"? I believe it is only a metaphore. We were hungry for knowledge after satan convinced us of how great it would be...so we "partook" or ate from the Tree Of Knowledge...If you will. Very easy.
