Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48329563 Never mind, you don't even know what laws are, or whether they are codes or criminal offenses. I know not to break the speed limit and not to attack cops or run from them... I think you just like to start fights...go do 100 MPH in a 65 and go fight in court, or hell, on the street with a cop, meanwhile I do the limit and spend more time with my family. As I stated, it's better for you, then actually knowing what your rights are or how to lawfully defend them. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 37321951 United States 11/17/2013 01:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | ... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48329563 Were the cops legally representing someone claiming harm by this person, or were they there, representing themselves, and forcing their version of reality, onto innocent people? If they hadn't committed a crime against anyone, then the cops are using deadly force, to enforce their ow will. In case you missed it, the groids were pulled over for speeding, then they took off only to get pulled over again and then attacked the police. It could have all been avoided by following the speed limit, but instead they turned a speeding ticket into a jail sentence and a bigger fine. wrong "they" didnot do that the police, assuring themselves Job Security did it, and are trained for that.- and as you can see, police even have a special name for their extra-special, favorite patsy: "groid".- thus police have joined the scum-of-the-earth, and have lost all credibility. Groid is just short for negroid that doesnot make you anyless "wrong", nor does it dissuade me away from the issue at hand.- in other words your avoidence of the issue is a big, fat FAIL however, thank your for the information, but it doesnot make it any uglier. |

"they" ?!?!?!?! there was no one "attacking" police there was only one child, in shock, rushing to his mother's side, where children feel safe. This proves the police deliberately used the mother to shock the children, to force them to have a need to be at their mother's side. The police were enciting the children as well as terrorizing the mother. The police are trained monsters. FACE IT you gone, boy, you gone We win |

She was harming her children by her behavior and the poor example she set...and putting their lives in danger, first by speeding and then by fighting with and running from the cops...she made the cops shoot at them because she was too stupid to act civil...she will probably lose her welfare checks when they take the kids away. Guilt or innocence is determined in court and not by a cop. This cop is in violation of use of force policy. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 21303902 ha ha. There is no such thing as a 'use of force policy' that applies to every PD in every state. This isn't a bloody monarchy with royal edicts from Washington. You don't know a thing about the 'policies' or the people in New Mexico. It really suits most of us just fine if there's enough shootings and anal probes to keep idiots like you and that ghetto slut out of here. |

Laws exist that in each state, county, city, municipality, etc. that limits use of force by law enforcement assuming those departments follow the law. People are conditioned to obey even as police officers are themselves committing crimes. That cop need to stop living off the tax payers and get fired. Time for government to be accountable. Time to defund these thugs. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 50138200 United States 11/17/2013 04:46 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Corpus Delicti Law & Legal Definition Quoting: Anonymous Coward 48329563 Corpus delicti is a Latin term meaning "body of the crime". It is the essential facts that prove that a crime has been committed. The doctrine of corpus delicti is the requirement that the state prove that a crime has been committed prior to allowing a confession to be admitted into evidence. The primary function of the rule is to reduce the risk of convicting a defendant based on his confession for a crime that did not occur. Other justifications include the reduction of confessions produced by coercive tactics and the encouragement of thorough police investigations. Standing Law & Legal Definition Standing is the ability of a party to bring a lawsuit in court based upon their stake in the outcome. A party seeking to demonstrate standing must be able to show the court sufficient connection to and harm from the law or action challenged. Otherwise, the court will rule that you "lack standing" to bring the suit and dismiss your case. There are three constitutional requirements to prove standing: Injury: The plaintiff must have suffered or imminently will suffer injury. The injury must not be abstract and must be within the zone of interests meant to be regulated or protected under the statutory or constitutional guarantee in question. Causation: The injury must be reasonably connected to the defendant’s conduct. Redressability: A favorable court decision must be likely to redress the injury. There are other requirements imposed by judge made law: A party may only assert his or her own rights and cannot raise the claims of a third party who is not before the court. A plaintiff cannot sue as a taxpayer who shares a grievance in common with all other taxpayers. If you commit a 'crime' in the presence of an officer or someone who represents the state, isn't that pretty close? Choosing to flee will obviously have video evidence. If they sent you a ticket or a subpena for the crime in question and running, the state could make running a more substantial fine making the fact that they were speeding sort of pointless. It's a pretty common strategy for people to 'bargin' with what crime was committed which doesn't really make sense considering how 'absolute' the law acts with its forceful nature. |
