I read that interview and just WOW! All that well hidden inner hatred that was so well groomed, manicured, and
lacquered ....all that facade that she maintained for years while on her TV show....that facade has sprung holes and all her stuffing is leaking out and its ugly.

I think she was just saying that older racists won't be rehabilitated. She wasn't saying we ought to kill them. She was saying we might not see racial equality in her lifetime.

Racism against black people is real. I am a white woman. I have witnessed and experienced it. Black Americans seem to have a reality based understanding of racism, and while most are angry, frustrated and sad, and some are hostile, the racism I have seen and experienced from blacks has not been nearly as hateful as that from whites.

Black people do not deserve or provoke white racism. White racism is not about black people any more than Nazi persecution of Jews was about Jews. White racism is about white racists like Nazi persecution is about Nazis.

Not all white people are racist and black people know this. Possibly all Americans have inherited some racist attitudes, such a refusal to acknowledge that racism makes being black a handicap to be overcome in America. Middle class black people often enough share this subtle "white racism".

Once in awhile i come across a very angry black girl. She's usually very mixed, and middle class. If she speaks ebonics it sounds like she learned it as a second language. She will talk black racism. The whole American white population has raped, enslaved, lynched and persecuted her entire ancestry, who survived because of their racial superiority. Like every racist she is just a sad hurt person defending her ego as best she can. There's not much to be done about it.

Some of us whites, especially white men who are the main victims, are just tired of the racism called affirmative action. But you probably call my attitude hateful, or maybe not?

Anyway, I don't give anyone extra points for being black, even when others pressure me to do so.

And I've seen a ton of subtle pro-black racism by blacks. The group together and favor other blacks. It's really obvious. It is not hateful, but practical. Whites should do the same. Just do it. See, not hateful! :)
