When something spookz a big ass tough dog, you better get a gun and stay in that house at night.

See, I know how the occult works and you being a skittish bible babbler makes it worse. The unknown knows your will and it makes game of that.

There are things of darkness, twilight creatures that roam the edge of reality watching, waiting for that moment when it can intrude and harm you or your dog.

It manifest in many forms but the form you fear most is the sixth sense form that goes unseen but is as real as real can be when it takes you from your reality that you've learned to trust and shows you its reality and how easy it is for it to reach out to you.

Don't fool yourself thinking you're stronger and have a god standing with you cause that's the very wish it's testing you for as it steps closer.

There is something in our world that can take your mind and twist reality where you will find yourself in a weird situation of time and space distortion and if your not powerful enough, may loose your way and become entangled there to never be seen again.

This can happen in the day or the night but the night is more frightening, for sure.

If your simply making this up, than fine. But if your revealing the truth of the situation, be very careful what you do or say to it. Animals know way more than any human will in an occult confrontation. Their fear should warn you of something horrible awaiting you in those woods.

Water in that area is how it travels so stay away if you wanna be safe. Leave it alone and it may show you one of its many forms some day or night as you look out the window.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 47612747

Ha that will surely make things better. NOT. :P

Btw what's that about these entities dwelling in water? Care to elaborate?
 Quoting: Manu-Koelbren

Ahhh water entities..... Are they real? Well, heck out this video which is in spanish, but even with no sound you get the idea...

Kids were playing in a jacuzzi and whilat snapping them in a pic, a weird entity was also captured. A tv crew went to investigate and the fat ugly one claimed the entity was aware of them and told them to gtfo, which they did.

OP, I suggest you get those infra red spotlights to light up your back yard, and if it is like a bigfoot creature, try leaving some food out by that tree that looks like a man, and see if it is there the next day.

Bigfoot doesnt smell too good either, just so's you know which your dog may be sensing and that is why it is scared, though PA has had a lot of sightings and no problems so if it is a bigfoot, be happy as it will chase off any other predatory animals that might be out there.

Here is a link I found of sightings in PA - in case you might live near one of the hotspots....

Apparently Bradford PA is known for these types of sightings...

What is the history of your house and surrounding area have you spoken to the local town historian.
 Quoting: SilverPatriot

This.

What type of spirits or 'clouds' were over that land in the beginning of civilization there?

Example: Sarasota, FL is a place where much violence took place from the Spanish invasion and the resulting fighting with Indians. From that time, the crimes committed there have been quite violent, bloody and heinous. I could name cases that you may have heard of in the last decade.

St. Petersburg, FL - lots of elderly for a long time so there's a spirit of death hovering over there.

You know what I mean, right?

Also, if that is a pic of your dog, it is gorgeous. I wanted to know just what your dog is not afraid of... such as animals, people, etc.

You are a brave, spirit filled woman full of much faith. That is very powerful. You should have nothing to fear at all, and we here have prayed for you.

More questions as I think.

A lot of crazy suggestions on here. It's probably just an eerie place a night. I have similar near me with a canal bank. My dogs freak out and they're pretty nosy normally. I don't mind but feel the anxious energy from the dogs. I took my brother once to show him and he said I'm never going there again in the dark.

But there was no cougars, no feng Sui or anything out of the ordinary. Just a dark natural place. The dogs were just more in tune with new sounds and how quiet it can be.

I suspect it would be more fun to have a motion-activated trail camera with invisible infra-red imagery -- you'll capture "it" while it will not even know you did so.

Four Paranormal Sites Worth Checking Out

1. Brown Mountain Lights

Stories of the lights extend back to the Native Americans. They rise against the ridge and disappear into the night sky. You can see them today, particularly after a rain on a cold evening, from the Brown Mountain Overlook on NC Highway 181 outside of Morganton.

2. Judacalla Rock

The largest petroglyph in North Carolina, Judacalla is a 16-foot by 11-foot soapstone boulder with markings unlike any other petroglyphs. The unique nature of the markings has baffled archeologists for decades. Archeologists estimate the petroglyphs predate the Cherokee Indians. Cherokee legend states the rock was created by a mythical giant that controlled the weather and jumped from mountain to mountain.

3. MOTHMAN

Sightings of a large bird-like man were reported over the course of a year in the mid-60s in Point Pleasant, West Virginia. The Mothman reportedly had 10-foot-long wings and glowing red eyes. The sightings stopped abruptly after the collapse of the Silver Bridge, which killed 46 people. However, several sightings have been reported in recent years. There’s also a statue in Point Pleasant.

4. Ringing Rocks Park

This is a boulder field high on a hill in Pennsylvania that contains thousands of large rocks that sound like bells when they’re struck. Scientists know the rocks are volcanic, but no one can explain why they ring like bells. Interestingly, Pennsylvania is one of the top 10 states for UFO sightings, according to the National UFO Reporting Center.

The woods of northern Minnesota are beautiful during the day but turn super creepy once darkness sets in.

I've been up there 4 out of 5 years for the Nov. 10th lighting of Split Rock. I still haven't gotten used to how dark it gets to so quickly up there.

Who knows what has happened there in the past.

Woods are creepy at night.

Spirits inhabit trees. During the day they are in the tree and at night they leave it. These are not spirits of the dead. They are spirits which have never lived as physical beings.

Perhaps they have witnessed things which have angered them.
This will sound weird but...

During the day, approach so e of the nearest trees to your property and place your hand on each one in turn.
When you are doing this, project positivity and caring for the tree. Also project you are uneasy at night and feel a little scared by them. Then water them or bury a spoonful of honey and oats.

You will no longer feel scared at night. Anything beyond them will be held back.

I had a similar problem. At night I could feel things staring through the window. I call them garden people.
I also added an area with everything they would like and now they do t bother me.
