I don't really have a problem with paganism in general, in fact I absolutely LOVE Halloween, its my favorite holiday.

My problem with Christmas is the consumerism involved. It's a holiday that revolves around shopping and buying things. I think that's absolutely ridiculous and I refuse to buy anyone a gift and I refuse to accept gifts. It's an abomination to Jesus that people who supposedly believe he is Christ celebrate his birthday by going to the mall and buying yankee candles for their coworkers. Totally fucked up.

Now see, obviously you don't carry a Christmas tree around. People used to make idols out of wood and they would overlay the wood with gold. No idols were solid gold back then - they'd be too heavy to carry. So they'd take wood, they'd cut it out, they'd deck it with silver and gold, they'd make an idol out and carry it around and pray to it. It's not talking about Christmas trees. It's talking about idolatry.

Now there are people I'm sure who can make idols out of their Christmas trees. I sure hope nobody is bowing to their Christmas tree. But, you know if you have a flower arrangement in your house and you put apples under it, it's not that different from having a Christmas tree and putting presents under it. If someone is going to worship it, then that's a different issue.

When you water them or it rains, for hours, these tiny fairy lights of pure color: red, orange, yellow, green, a few blue ones, and white...and all the shades in between, light up and then go out.

When I approached to examine how many spider webs were capturing the droplets discovered none did.

What was happening was, the water droplets were being cradled in uniquely feathered type cedar needles, that textured them so they resembled crystals.
