Auto drip
prefer percolator. Used to wake to the smell of my Grandmother percolating the morning coffee & frying bacon.
Quoting: Lady Jane Smith Oh yes this is the best memory, my grandmother then fried the eggs in the bacon grease. And she'd have cream in her percolated coffee and make me hot chocolate with real heavy cream. I use heavy cream in my coffee today. Oh yes! She also poured some bacon fat in the bottom of the baking pan when making homemade buttermilk biscuits. Soooooooo goood to eat!!!! Soooooo bad for us. Yum, yum. Oh and yes sooo bad for us! But it was yummmmy in my tummmmy! LOL. Great memories!
