ison fragmenting or breaking isnt really an "outcome". It doesnt change anything. In fact i hope we get lots of pieces surviving the tirp to make for more of a show!! It wont change the trajectory, it won't hit us and it is not more dangerous broken than it is whole. I hope that makes you feel better.

People say we don't know enough about ison to be able to say that, but we really do know all we need to. Physics rules! Nothing ison can do at this point will save it from its fate. It is no match for the sun or its own velocity - those forces are staggering compared to the tiny comet. Exactly!!! I agree! The force of your attraction is insane towards me. Just wow! I am.
