Jesus said he did not come to bring peace but division, that we are either for him or against him (hot or cold), that he rejects lukewarm believers, that those who do his will to obey the 10 commandments (and the 11th - to love everyone equally) are his true family.

Jesus said in the Old Testament and the New that those who are good stay good, those who are bad stay bad, to be a good steward of the enemy, because if one does not even serve their ruthless masters well they can't serve Jesus well when their allegiance is changed.
